We believe Shaxi is a must-visit in Yunnan. It’s not only an authentic Bai minority village but also a beautiful, peaceful place to disconnect from stress.
If you’re looking for a truly clean 👍🏻, comfortable stay with peaceful nature views in Shaxi, this is your place. This family-run Bai guesthouse shows real care and investment in every detail, from spotless rooms to thoughtful touches that make you feel at home.
The beds and pillows are genuinely comfortable, and quiet nights guarantee real rest. Amenities here are better than anywhere else we stayed in Yunnan, and unlike listings that overpromise, this place truly delivers on cleanliness.
The free shuttle to Shaxi Old Town (5-7 min) is a big plus. We were upgraded to a better room, enjoyed simple Western touches at breakfast, and were invited to dinner with fresh homegrown produce 😍.

Modern design homes stay near the old town Shaxi
Run by a young family with great hospitality spirit.
Hostess put us in bigger room even we booked a small room, with garden view. The hotel is situated near the old town within walking distance.

Very Serene and calm setting. It is a treat for oneself to be here.
Modern house with amazing views of the mountains and fields. Amenities are luxurious and in the style of a muji hotel.
Clean and very comfortable.
Breakfast was filling and nutritious and the fresh milk was a real treat.
Ancient city a little far to walk 1km when cold but host provided transport to the ancient town.
Host both welcoming and generous with her time and suggestions. Memorable stay and town. We wish her every success. Thank you!!

Shaxi, a place I've been longing for since returning to Guangdong.
Looking for a safe and secure place near Shaxi Ancient Town? Then you absolutely must try Qingye B&B. 👍 I left with the thought, "I'll come back next time."
It's just 1 kilometer from Shaxi Ancient Town, just the right distance away from the hustle and bustle. The B&B has a shuttle available on request. The owners, a couple, are incredibly warm and welcoming, like long-time friends, feeling at ease and at ease.
The B&B is elegant and exquisite, with a beautiful design that blends tranquility and beauty. The vast rice paddies in front of the door are breathtaking. The amenities are comparable to those of a five-star hotel, and the food is incredibly delicious. I'll never forget the taste of the mushrooms! They even took us to the nearby Rose Farm and up the mountain to pick mushrooms. Both adults and children were thrilled. It was a fantastic experience, haha! Qinghe B&B was definitely the best choice of my trip, a truly five-star choice! I'll be back next time! 😁
