The hosts were very friendly and enthusiastic. They helped us book transportation whenever we needed it. The location is also great—within walking distance of the Shaxi ancient town.

Good ratio price vs comfort. But surpringly, the staff did not know they have to transfer to the Police office a copy of my passport and of my entry stamp. The room pictures in Trip.com are MUCH more beautiful than the room is really, especialy the bathroom. There is the air conditionning, but we are almost asked to not used it.

Really nice little hotel just outside the ancient town (about 3-4 mins to walk in). The woman who runs it is very helpful, she even gave me a lift across town to catch a ride with some people I met!

Quiet albeit the old town is about just around the corner
