Outstanding hotel, the place to stay while Shaxi. First, let’s talk about the location : it’s perfect just right by the main square and the charming beautiful streets of the old town. Now, how about the room? Airy, bed very confortable, lovely balcony and the fluffiest towels ever. Let’s not forget the amenities, everything you need and more. The service? Perfect, English is spoken and they are extremely welcoming and go out their way to make sure your stay is special. Outstanding Lastly, the food? The breakfast was delicious, heathy. A yummy pancake, unforgettable noodles and the fruits were so fresh. Let’s not forget the coffee which was delicious and that’s not easy to find in small town hotels! Staying there was the right choice for me and I would highly recommend it.

Room amenities are comprehensive; shows owner has thought through travellers’ needs very well. There’s a platform for star gazing and watching the sunrise too. Amazing experience! Thank you for the wonderful service. Very thankful for kind owner and friendly staff. Wish we’ve stayed here longer. Will be back again!

We have never experience this level of customer service. Allie is just the perfect host, and assist us with everything we needed, to the very little details. She is just perfect host. The place is fantastically designed, and the rooms are equipped well. Also location is perfect. Higly recommended!

I was really looking forward to this Shaxi B&B. The courtyard was even more beautiful than I had imagined. The 30-year-old plum tree was laden with fruit. Sitting beneath the tree and enjoying a leisurely afternoon tea was truly relaxing. The room looked different from the pictures, but the housekeeper's excellent service made up for the lack of amenities. She was accommodating and offered alternatives if we couldn't meet our needs. P.S. The rice noodles for breakfast were the best we've ever had at any B&B!
