A characteristic courtyard house with homey touch. You can feel a tranguil ambience here. Room is a bit small but warm. Breakfast is quite nice, although choices are rather limited. Service is great. Staffs are kind and I can tell that they are hard-working. Location is good.

It’s a very comfortable stay at Shaxi. Great to have room upgraded during the low peak season. Location is near to the main town and also Yujin bridge. The breakfast is delicious and staff are friendly and helpful. Overall is great and beautiful, highly recommended.

Incredible location, 1 min walk to the Shaxi Ancient Town. The staff is very helpful and will help you to bring your luggage to and from the hotel to the parking lot.
Room, facility and atmosphere is clean and beautiful. Breakfast is very good.

What a great place! It is a bit of a walk down a couple of narrow alleys, but they have a small cart that they carry your luggage on. It is an easy walk to the busy street in the town, but you are far enough from them that you don't hear any noise at all. The women who run this place are very kind and accommodating, it was wonderful from check-in all the way to check-out. Great food, quiet and tranquil location, beautiful rooms with cold AC, and a lovely courtyard with a fish pond. Don't hesitate, this is where you want to stay!

Beautiful hotel in Shaxi. Tea on arrival was a great touch, and great breakfast where they accommodated for my sister being vegan. Staff were kind and attentive throughout, contacting us via WeChat throughout. A haven in the midst of a beautiful old town.

"Where There Is Wind" brought us to the ancient town of Shaxi. The store owner was very considerate to pick us up at the North Gate. It was just a few steps away. As soon as we walked into the Yundu courtyard, we were immediately attracted by its quaint charm, elegant style, and cheerful pond fish. The store owner upgraded the room and recommended the Bai ethnic minority specialties, which were delicious. Yundu's breakfast was quite exquisite, the afternoon tea was rich, especially the sweet soup in the evening was delicious. The room had air conditioning and electric blankets, and it was very quiet at night. It was a pity that I didn't see the stars on the terrace on the third floor due to the weather! Shaxi is really worth coming again, and I will stay at Yundu again!
