It was really a very touching trip...the small yard full of flowers and plants, the two cute puppies Huahua and Maomao, the handmade breakfast by the boss Polo, the sunrise on the top of the mountain...everything is nostalgic. During this trip to Dali, the two days on the Baltic Sea were the most reluctant experience for me.

I really like this place and will come again next time. The scenery on the top of the mountain is beautiful and quiet, and the boss is very nice. There are many books to read, which is suitable for taking some time off for yourself.

I was on a business trip to Yunnan and wanted to find a place to stay during the weekend. I saw my favorite blogger sharing "Dengteng Village - the most worthwhile place to stay in Yunnan for a few more days". Someone in the comments said that there is a B&B called "Baltic Sea" on the top of the mountain. I came here with expectations and the slight pressure left over from work. When I left, I gained energy from the clouds, green mountains, the breeze all day long, the kind treatment of my bosses Polo and Dorje, as well as the furry relatives and the freedom-loving flowers. After 2 days of life without noise, I hope to go home and spend more time on life~ Care can be felt in every detail in the courtyard and rooms. In the apple room, I wake up to the sound of wind chimes in the morning, eat some homemade salted duck eggs and bread from Boluo, and then stroll around the yard, read a book or just be in a daze. After dinner, I go for a walk and chat with Duoji on the top of the mountain to learn more about this place. I turned to the "Keep Smile" photo album, which is very interesting. Polo introduced the author Duobaomei's experience and talked about the changes in the B&B. They are all brave people.

Eight years later, I came to Shaxi again. The difference was that because of the wind, Shaxi was already crowded with people. It was far from the quiet scene in my memory. Fortunately, we arrived at the Baltic Sea. I discovered Beacon Village and this beautiful little B&B because of a video a blogger took two years ago. I keep thinking that if I come to Shaxi again, I must stay here. Eight years later, I took my beloved boy with me and took two bus rides to Shaxi and Dengta Village. The Bai villages are built against the mountains and are well-proportioned. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the mood immediately becomes refreshing and open. Before we even entered the courtyard, Huahua and Maomao were running towards us wagging their tails. In the courtyard, everyone reads books, drinks coffee and tea, or hangs out on the rooftop. Chatting is also done in a slow and peaceful tone. As for me, I sat on the chair and played with Maomao. The happiness of playing with the dog was real. My lover went to Tiantai Mountain to enjoy the wind and view the scenery, and kept admiring the beauty of it all. After returning from the ancient town in the afternoon, I sat in the small hall and chatted with travelers from all over the world. The pine cones and dead branches collected by Polo from the back mountains became the most natural and clean raw materials for making fire. When night falls, stargazing is an indispensable part. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen the sky full of stars and the Milky Way. Thank you Polo for taking the most romantic scene of our trip. There is no need to get up too early the next day. Go to the rooftop to have a slow breakfast and watch the village under the sun, the colorful clouds, the tinkling of wind chimes, and the lazy fur. With the reluctance to leave here, I made a promise with my lover that we will come to Shaxi again next time, we will come to the Baltic Sea again, we will let Maomao take us to climb the back mountain, and we will keep all the beauty in our hearts.
