The service was good but to be honest, the hotel needs a serious overhaul. Although i absolutely liked the behavior of the staff but i couldn't ignore the crumbling state of the rooms. The staffs at hotel lalit heritage are highly supportive and a hardworking lot. I honestly believe that they deserve to work in a better environment, hence it would be great if they pay more attention towards renovating the hotel.

It was a routine business trip, a long day, and get down at Jharsuguda airport and there is no cab service. Local taxi price was charging extremely high price...probably it is the problem in all remote areas. if we remember Dadar Station before app cab days! Finally I have arrived my hotel, was little uneasy , I booked the hotel in my flight and air hostess was telling to keep the phone, and found it was not Royal Orchid, its a stand alone hotel Orchard! Pros: 1. Spacious room 2. Maintain and clean hotel 3. Attentive staffs 4. Good quality of foods 5. I met the Head of operations nice , friendly gentle*** Con 1. A bit over priced 2. Breakfast is very basic 3. Toiletries are little lower in quality Critical Point 1. Sleep quality is poor, need to take care of window installation in room, glass must be DGU 2. Need to change the pillows and increase the number of it in the bed 3. When you use hot water from the shower, there is absolutely no water pressure 4. There is no proper WiFi for business traveller Verdict In my next visit I shall again stay here. They have nice swimming pool, which I was not able to use. The hotel has full of plants, it a pleasure for eyes. I recommend this hotel

GGuest UserWe had booked the hotel by calling the front desk executive at around 12 Noon for a couple of days, well in advance, upon arrival at 11:15 PM, greeted by the following: 1. Front desk executive (FDE) is unaware of the booking, though was confirmed by the booking executive. a. The situation becomes panicky, with a point to start to search for another hotel room in middle of the night. b. Upon making several telcon, at last the FDE confirmed the booking. 2. Once arrive in the room, a. Observed the broken toilet seat. b. Upon usage of flush, water drain out from outside. c. Water from the bucket to be used for the purpose. d. The comod tilted on one side as not properly grouted, 3. No Hot water from the tap. Upon taking to FDE, replied no hot water is available in the room. If requires, shift to suite. If anybody wish to book room during winter season, please be prepared to have shower with cold water. Dinesh C.
