Hotels Near Durga mandap(Belpahar station) in Jharsuguda

Not the perfect experience at the hotel. From the start arrogance was dripping in abundance. When I called to book the gentleman at the other end spoke with an attitude which sounded like “book if you want to, we really dont care” but then I booked a room via yatra and check in While checking in I asked for an upgrade which the gentleman said that he has rooms but comes at an extra charge, then I showed him the voucher which specifically said that if room is available I would get upgraded. Then the Mr. Samrat who happens to be the manager and the senior most authority at the hotel (as he refuse to call his senior) told me that no room is available. Suddenly from pay to upgrade to no upgrade in seconds. Then the gentleman asked me for my company details after giving him the details he tells me i cant bill you on it as you havent mentioned it in voucher. All hotels around the world can be accommodating apart from MR. SAMRAT. Strongly feel that there is a notion of superiority that these people have on top of there nose, which they can get over with. On another note saw a hotel named ARYAN. I feel that would be much more justifiable given at the price point one books Orchard.

The service was good but to be honest, the hotel needs a serious overhaul. Although i absolutely liked the behavior of the staff but i couldn't ignore the crumbling state of the rooms. The staffs at hotel lalit heritage are highly supportive and a hardworking lot. I honestly believe that they deserve to work in a better environment, hence it would be great if they pay more attention towards renovating the hotel.

We had booked the hotel by calling the front desk executive at around 12 Noon for a couple of days, well in advance, upon arrival at 11:15 PM, greeted by the following: 1. Front desk executive (FDE) is unaware of the booking, though was confirmed by the booking executive. a. The situation becomes panicky, with a point to start to search for another hotel room in middle of the night. b. Upon making several telcon, at last the FDE confirmed the booking. 2. Once arrive in the room, a. Observed the broken toilet seat. b. Upon usage of flush, water drain out from outside. c. Water from the bucket to be used for the purpose. d. The comod tilted on one side as not properly grouted, 3. No Hot water from the tap. Upon taking to FDE, replied no hot water is available in the room. If requires, shift to suite. If anybody wish to book room during winter season, please be prepared to have shower with cold water. Dinesh C.

Hotel rooms were very good and well equipped. Lobby was well decorated and pool was excellent. The restaurant food was homely.

It's wonderful experience. Suffs behavior are fantastic. Food quality and service is wonderful. Rooms are very cleaned. Location are good. Also pick and drops facilities from Jharsuguda stations are available. I will suggest to stay if visited Jharsuguda.
