this is a low key guest house with traditional javanese decor. the guest house is smacked in central jogja. there is an ATM, convenience store, and several laundromats within 5 min walk from the guest house. room is small and cozy. staff are friendly. housekeeping is meticulous. only negatives are some minor maintenance issues and toilet sink being a tad too small.

Of the several Santika Premieres I have stayed at, this Santika Premier Jogja is the worst, in my personal opinion, the receptionist is not friendly, her face is flat, she is stingy with a smile, especially since I have lived in Jogja for many years, this is the first time I am disappointed, every year I definitely go on holiday to Jogja because the people are very welcoming, but this is The hospitality is different from other hotels that I have stayed at, perhaps the Tentrem, Hyatt, Melia Purosani, Grand Ambarukmo, Artotel Suite Bianti, Novotel Suite and other 5 star hotels in Jogja that I have stayed at are of a different class, I understand, but compared to 4 stars which are equivalent In Jogja, Swissbell, Jogjaplaza, Novotel, even Ibis class, in my opinion the hospitality, especially at the reception, needs a lot of improvement, the hospitality service, especially at the reception and in the restaurant, the food is also very standard compared to other Santika Premieres where the food is abundant and tastes good, but here for me personally it tastes good In my opinion, it was quite disappointing, plus the waiter there was also the same as the one at the reception, it was different from the service at any Santika Premier, room 214 which I stayed in was also a bit scary at night, maybe because the old hotel didn't have too many guests at the weekend, my arrival was Saturday to Monday, luckily it was only 2 nights for transit before a flight abroad, the only plus point is that the door opener is quite friendly and the housekeeping and security officers are quite helpful, another thing that makes you in a bad mood is that usually in some Santika Premieres you can have late check out until 15.00 WIB, at least 14.00 WIB here, don't expect he said if it's later than 13.00 WIB you will be charged, it's better to check out at 10.00 WIB, check out straight to the El Royale Malioboro Hotel at 10.30 WIB, you can check in early, you can rest and the service is much different from the moment you arrive, the receptionist is already happy, we as guests are very happy with the friendliness of their service is typical of Jogja people which always makes me miss you... finally I think if I go to Jogja again I will definitely not choose this hotel again as a place to rest

I had an excellent stay at the hotel. With a very affordable price I got such high quality facilities such as hot water, tv with premium channels, super cold AC, comfortable bed, a very strategic location. The staff were also very friendly, helpful, and approachable. They made it very easy for me. I’ll definitely going to stay here again in my future trip. Recommended!

This budget hotel's location is great as it's located near the famous Jogja's landmark, Tugu Jogja. I mean it's a 1-minute walk. The neighborhood is still at night and gets crowded in the morning as it's used as a traditional market.

Location of this hotel is strategic, walking distance to Malioboro Street, Tugu Train Station & Tugu Yogya Monument. Good option to explore Malioboro area ,to avoid traffic jam and spend more time if you want to go to Malioboro street. Room is huge (booking deluxe room) , clean , & room facilities also good.Food during breakfast delicious & have many option. Good service from this hotel crew (reception, waitress & technician) , they are very attentive. I have a problem with hot water, and they are following up immediately. Minor thing from my side : because Im smoker , they dont provide smoking room for deluxe room type.This hotel only provide smoking room for superior room type. Maybe in the future this hotel can provide smooking for all room type . Overall staying in this hotel is highly recommended. Thank You
