The room felt like it had been built 30 years ago on a tight budget and no major renovation was considered ever since, just minimum maintenance. When we checked in, we had ants in the bathroom; when it started to rain, the water started to come into the room, so the staff had to stuff towels under the balcony door to stop it. Also, we had a connecting door between our room and someone else's so we could perfectly hear snoring and "other sounds" in the night (if you know what I mean). The whole place is very tired, badly needs a refit and super overpriced. Internet photos didn't promise an amazing place but the reality was much worse. On a positive note, the dinners were very good, the staff were friendly and the pool area is nice. Still, 4 stars? Seriously? They must be dreaming in color. I completely share one of recent reviewer's surprise at where a high visitor rating could come from. I am sure, for this price you can find something way better.

Lovely hotel in a great location,friendly helpfull staff who really helped me during our stay with local transport etc. We did the bed and breakfast and the breakfast was great lovely food with lots of choice,the hotel was imacculately clean throughout with regular room visits during the day. The hotel has a private beach but there is a charge of 15 euros a day for two sunbeds and its best to book those in advance esp during busy periods and there is also a charge if you use the hotel towels. If you decide to go to Venice you can catch a bus to the local ferry port the stop is literally 5 minutes walk from the hotel, but a word of warning get bus tickets in advance we got ours from a tobbacconist which is across the road from the hotel because we were told you can't buy on the bus itself. All in lovely hotel in a great location for the shops and beach recommended.

Wonderfull holiday at excellent hotel Excelsior Jesolo. Our first visit to this hotel was before 10 years ago and now we repeat against this so wonderful experience. Very hospitality, friendly and professional staff on the all level of positions and jobs is fundamental of this hotel. Excellent location, great dinner with the lot of possibilities with very different kinds of food for all - younger or older in few steps .Breakfast was very good in the nice atmosphere of green garden near pool a 60 m from sea. Great. The pool is very clean and all support of this pool was very very correctly. The hotel room and bathroom is really very good, very clean and healthy. Big enough for 4 person with the balcony with view on the garden and sea side. On the end I must say something about table tennis (old school sport)… great feelings played table tennis with my daughters in one of the most beautiful garden on the front to the sea of Lido di Jesolo promenade . Beach bar is very nice, with excellent food (lunch) and very different drinks. What can I say on the end of this great sea sun story…?We will back again, of course!!!!👍😊🤗

My family and I had an absolute blast staying at the Excelsior Hotel for 4 nights and 5 days over the 4th of July Holiday weekend. The Hotel is perfectly located to both beach and shopping action. The property also has a well maintained swimming pool and AWESOME breakfast and dinner buffet/food selection. The hotel staff prides itself in making you feel at home and their customer service is second to none one. Francesca who works Reception & Guest Services made our entire family’s experience that much better ensuring all comforts were provided whenever ask for. All employees who work the breakfast buffet are professional, accommodating, and their services impeccable. We will certainly make the Excelsior Hotel our preferred destination every time we want to enjoy a beach vibe in Jesolo, Italy.

Had a great time at the Excelsior - couldn't be in a better location, right next to the main Mazzini square. There was a good breakfast each morning - especially the little chocolate croissants. Thank you to the team.

We have stayed at the hotel every summer for several years now simply because they truly are the best in Jesolo. All staff members are exceptionally friendly, super helpful, and genuinely want you to have a great stay. The rooms are cleaned to perfection. The food......aaaaaamazing! The beautiful hotel is just a few steps from the water and has it's own beach section. Anything you need for a perfect vacation time at the sea. : )
