Hotel Windsor

Hotel Windsor have perfect location,near main street and close to beach, with umbrella and sunbeds. Rooms big enough for 2 people, cleaning every day.Breakfast simple,but quality food-ham,salami, bacon, cheese,boiled eggs, scrambled eggs,fruits salad, croissants and more sweets, coffee automat,tea,juice - pineapple and lemon. Dinner served 2 dishes,and starters on the table,which you can serv yourself -mostly vegetable's. But, there only one thing l didn't like- dinner took over 1 hour (1,5 hour mostly) if you waiting also for cake 3-4 choices. So,l do recommend hotel and Lido Di Jesolo for holiday time.

Went for a week .hired a car at airport to drive around. Its within hours of driving to beautiful locations. Used it as a base. And what a base. The hotel which is family run . It is a 2 minute walk to the beach. Has its own sunbeds there. So you don't pay while attempting to burn the flesh in the Italian sun. At the front of the windsor is a veranda where you can sit relax by day or night and drink from the bar which serves the best Aperol spritzer in town. The prices of the drinks are very good comparative to the town. If you want to tipple in your room there is a Eurospar 100 metres away. The main road is 30 metres away .it is a 4 mile stretch of bars, bistros, cafes. I recommend Tony's pan cafe. He is so friendly, a massive carachter with good prices and gives you nibbles of nuts, sandwiches and crisps with each drink. Back to the windsor. The rooms are basic, but lovely. Our room was compact . Had an en suite bathroom which included a Burwash( bidet) also a hairdryer ,so lads can save bit of space in the luggage. All rooms have a small balcony where you can chill in the sun , smoke ( if you do) and hang your wet spedos on to dry. Now to the food, breakfast is a buffet style. Cheeses, hams, bacon, scrambled eggs. Help yourself to yoghurts, cakes, jams, toast ,boiled eggs. Coffee and juices. Plenty of choice for all. Evening meals is a small but delicious ala carte menu. Each day you fill out what u want for the next evening. You will get waiter service by Christiano , the charismatic guy who looks like a young Italian Clarke Kent. Ladies, you'll love him If you are driving there are plenty of parking spaces. It is a disabled friendly hotel. There is a homely lounge with a TV downstairs where you can relax just opposite the bar, which closes when last guest goes to bed. But there is always someone to serve if a midnight beverage is wanted. Overall, location, service ,food , rooms( which were cleaned every day) and friendliness was outstanding. Would definitely come back and recommend. I can't understand some of the negative reviews I have read because for the price it over achieved.
