I stayed at this hotel expecting a top-notch experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several areas. While the rooftop view was fantastic, the cleanliness of the rooms was severely lacking. Despite paying a premium price, my room was not cleaned for the first two days due to staff shortages. When cleaning was finally offered, I was too tired to have someone in my room at that time. On the third day, the room was cleaned but not thoroughly, with trash left behind and surfaces unwiped. Additionally, the hotel was noisy, and it seemed like someone was smoking nearby, which was very unpleasant. The owner explained the difficulties they are facing, but basic cleanliness and a quiet, smoke-free environment should not be compromised, especially at this price point. Overall, the view does not compensate for the lack of essential services. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.

The location is great inside the old city and view from the top of the hotel are lovely. Free tea or coffee self service available in lounge but no fresh milk but powder alternative. However this is the only positive thing I can write about this hotel after stay here for 2 Night. What do you want from hotels comfortable bed, clean rooms, quiet corridors, a reliable WIFI connection, and other complimentary toiletries? Well you will not get that here. Noise all through out the night and day. You can hear conversation, phones ringing, people running up the stairs and opening/ closing of front door. This places has no soundproofing. Which means you hear everything in the hotel. This resulting in us having everything difficulty falling asleep. The room was not a clean standard and when staff come into clean like which is expected but only cleaning half the room and not locking the room back up. There are no safes in your room so you have to keep everything on you. Also every time I was near or on bed I was continuously feeling itchy. The bed is rock hard with one pillow. They have 2 different WiFi but both however are poor. Always cutting out or unable to connect. Even when connect ever slow. For non-Muslim guests, this means that unmarried couples have to sleep in separate rooms. Which I can respect. The staff were not helpful and come across as rude. Clear preference for cash, which was shown as multiple people were sent to the ATM because of "issues with the credit card". Worst place I have ever stayed, can't recommend.

Apart from being close to haram, this hotel is very outdated. Rooms and bathroom were untidy. Bed linen was unclean even after washed and beds made. Was expecting better from the famous Hashmi. No water bottles, kettle or tea/coffee In rooms. Shower faulty In one of the double rooms we had. Hospitality was questionable.

The hotel was clean, the location was very good near to all attractions, the staff was friendly, it has an rooftop restaurant, the room clean and enough big.They also have breakfast.Is in the heart of the old city in the bazar.

Excellent location, decent breakfast and a friendly staff. We were allocated a room where we can see the dome of rock from our window, beautiful view of the holy place and the old city. The draw back is that the room did not have any kettle and there was not intercom facility, so we had to go down to the reception every time we need to ask for any help. Apart from that it was great place to stay.

Typical greedy scammers. Booked this hotel via bookimg.com when the country was still closed due to COVID-19 regulations for a good price. Credit card was provided to *********** who successfully processed preauthorisation. The hotel staff, apparently, tried few times to charge my credit card for a stay just few weeks before arrival but marked my credit card as incorrect asking for new card details. Same story dodgily repeated on 2 other credit cards. Credit card details provided to ***********, 0 euro successful preauthorisation and hotel marks other two credit cards as invalid. All credit cards worked perfectly - purchased different stuff in multiple locations throughout Israel. Other Israeli hotels booked via *********** and Agoda could successfully charge my credit cards both virtually and in POS terminal. Finally, I rang the hotel just few days before check-in and was told that they don't have my CVC codes for all credit cards provided and that's why they just mark my credit cards as invalid without trying to reach my over the phone or by email. When you provide credit card details to ***********, it is not possible to save it until CVC code is provided. So the reason was obvious... I asked to keep the reservation because I was already in the country and the upcoming stay in Jerusalem was just in few days. What they did - just brutally cancelled my booking and asked politely if I want to rebook the same room... and the price was doubled from the original one. Found better deal nearby and *********** was pretty useless in resolving this situation...

I was eaten alive. Welts kept developing for days and are SUPER itchy. Not a nice souvenir to bring home. Yuck!!!! Very basic room. But bedbugs. Hope I don’t have to fumigate my house now. Service was basic. Breakfast ok, pretty good.

Excellent position, however poor maintenance... breakfast could be much better (recommend to provide better quality tea and coffee, instead of industrial Nescafè/Lipton). Cleaning could also be better
