NEVER AGAIN! We recently stayed overnight at this hotel in transit from Hawaii to get on a cruise ship the following day. We arrived at 6am after a 9 hour flight (I did try to book in the previous night as well originally but there was no availability) and people were already checking out from the night before which boded well for an early check in or so I thought. We were told we couldn’t even complete the paperwork which is unusual but we stored our luggage and caught an Uber to the nearest shopping mall at a cost of $22USD. We returned to the hotel at 1.30pm, hoping to be able to finally check in. By this time there were quite a few more people in and around reception with suitcases everywhere, some were sleeping, others were looking very fed up or annoyed. We asked about checking in again and were told there were still no rooms. We went into the restaurant for some lunch and checked again at 2.45pm, still no rooms, seriously? We went back out into the reception area and heard the girl on reception very rudely telling someone check in was 4pm so don’t bother coming back until then.
Finally at 4pm they started checking in a long line of very tired, cross people. To make everyone wait until then was ridiculous especially as people had started checking out at 6am that morning, it was like they had to take control and kept everyone hanging around out of spite. Check out was 11am and when we went to check out the following morning someone was being told they couldn’t check in until 4pm, she was not happy. The rooms weren’t even that clean, see pic of the top of a power point I ran my finger through below. I would NEVER stay at this place again and would definitely NEVER recommend it to anyone!
