Beautiful setting and a delicious breakfast in an old style palace surrounded by woods it is not easy to get there from the train station but if you like walks you will definitely enjoy it.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights as part of a group trip. It is quietly located in a park, but far from the town of Hirschberg. A car is therefore recommended. The staff were very friendly. We had half board and were happy with the food. Breakfast was buffet style, but unfortunately there was only a coffee machine, so there was a long wait. In the evening we had a fixed 3-course meal, which was also delicious. Room cleaning is only carried out if you let reception know. Our room was unfortunately very small and very worn. The bedspread was not clean, which should not happen in a 3-star hotel. There was no refrigerator, and a hairdryer was only available on request at reception. Since we were there with a group and we all paid the same price for the trip, it is not understandable that some guests in our group, including individual travelers, had much larger and better equipped rooms. In addition, we had already asked for a better room before the trip. There are better "castle hotels" in this area.

Many thanks for a lasting stay in these impressive walls. Special thanks go to the ladies at the reception desk, who seriously impaired the stay with their particularly strong self-confidence and poor communication with each other. It's just a shame that the good performance of the service and kitchen staff was lost in the overall package. Unfortunately, this stay is hard to beat in terms of sustainability. Unfriendly welcome. Rooms no longer correspond to the standard expected and shown on the website (we had already been there three years ago and were very satisfied then). In the meantime, a little worn, not so clean and defects amateurishly and makeshiftly "repaired" (cracked tiles in the bathroom, black silicone joints in the shower, etc.). Additional services booked (romantic dinner) were forgotten despite electronic data processing - or deliberately because of a tour group present. When reminded of this, we only reluctantly looked in the system and asked for the desired time. As they couldn't remember the following evening and suggested we eat in our room, we decided against it and cancelled dinner. The cancellation was then (how could it be otherwise) also forgotten during the payment process. So we had to pay almost 300.00 zl for dinner that we didn't eat. Explanations and clarifications from the reception staff were annoying, as they suddenly didn't want to or couldn't understand Polish, German or English (which had been no problem up until then). In the end, the amount was generously waived. Thank you very much for that too. We will definitely recommend this hotel, but we don't know who to recommend it to at the moment. The surroundings, restaurant services (albeit limited) and breakfast were good. So if you are prepared to make certain compromises, can do without additional services, overlook a few things and can live with the mismanagement, then it's OK, although there are several accommodations in the vicinity that have more to offer in a comparable price-performance ratio and seem to be better managed.

We rented a two-story studio. Very nice hotel, comfortable and stylish interior. There is a sauna and a steam room, but it's a bit too hot and there's too much steam. Most of the guests are our neighbors from the West. Helpful and nice service. The disadvantages are that in the bathroom on the first floor you have to take a shower on your knees because it is so low and there is no fridge in the room even though there is space for it.

Light and shadow are balanced in this castle hotel. On the positive side, there is the historic flair of the estate, which dates back to the 17th century and the Jesuits. In addition, the isolated location on a wooded hill near Jelenia Gora (Hirschberg), relatively quiet and with a view of the Giant Mountains. The rooms, however, have little charm, at least not ours. It was gloomy, which is not only due to the rather small windows, but also to the clunky, dark-stained pseudo-antique furniture. The staff at reception are friendly. Otherwise, there is still room for improvement in terms of atmosphere and hospitality. If it could be rated more finely, I would give it 3.5 points. I have chosen a 4 out of sympathy.
