The Hoh Chalet is a cozy cabin located on the Olympic Peninsula in the Hoh River Basin. It is heated with a woodstove and has spiral stairs to get up to both bedrooms. Pictures of stairs are in additional photos in this listing. The space The Chalet is a small cabin, just 400 sq ft per floor. It is an independant home and is powered by solar energy. The inside is DIY finished with repurposed materials. Only the appliances are new. This two-story cabin has 2 bedrooms upstairs with a double bed in each, no doors, and a desk in the hall. The entry level has a kitchenette, bathroom, dining area and common area with a hide-a-bed in the sitting room. It is heated with a woodstove; firewood, cable TV, and Wi-Fi are provided. Guest access There is plenty of parking, with a carport for smaller vehicles. You are welcome to walk down the road, and tour our property. We have a berry farm and U-Pick berries starting in late June as well as a grocery garden, and a path through our wooded area. A large communal fire pit is located behind our retail shack where Hoh Made Jam, Native Hoh River Smoked Salmon, and local arts and crafts are available. Other things to note Access to the upper floor is via a spiral staircase. If you have small children or do not do stairs easily, this may not be for you.
