I went to Edde Sands with my family last Sunday the 25th of June 2023, we paid the entrance and we moved onward, my husband was handling the bags and walking in front of us, and I was holding my one year and a half boy, my wallet (From which I have paid the entrance), and its swimming tire. At the downstairs, far less than 3 mins from the entrance, my husband was asking at St Tropez shop if they can inflate the swimming tire, then suddenly I looked for my wallet and I didn’t find it!!!!! 3 minutes far from the entrance, my wallet was stolen at Edde Sands…. And the surprising issue is that they have no cameras at the entrance area … We submitted a claim, and we asked the manager Mr. Walid for assistance since the situation became so serious, he was so nice, honestly, he searched with us and asked the security manager to find it, refunded us the entrance (since all our money were in the wallet), asked a waitress to take care of us and consider all our orders as complimentary. We stayed around one hour hoping to find the wallet but with no positive feedback, even I don’t know the level of responsibility and ethics, the higher management dealt with the situation, I don’t know if they checked all the resorts cameras, their employees stuff and others, so we left. The main thing to consider, is that Mr. Walid did all his job perfectly however the management of Edde Sands where my wallet was stolen did no significant reaction even, they didn’t call to follow up or apologize the next days, when you choose those 5 stars places you choose them for cleanliness, ambiance, security, food, quality of guests, and many other factors. Unfortunately, Edde Sands failed in protecting my cash and official papers 3 minutes away from their main entrance, where my wallet was stolen.
