Excellent and professional service from all staff we met. Everyone was helpful and questions were answered with a smile. Our room had a lovely view over the pool area and was always cleaned(even without the clean sign). The choice of food in the buffet was excellent, catering for all tastes. The gardens of the hotel were pleasant to walk through and allowed easy access for anyone with mobility issues. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and one we would recommend.

It is a really great hotel, lots of entertainment during the day and night. Kids club was amazing pn and Maria were fab. Food good lots of variety with the different themes Water park was fun - great condition Beautiful location reasonable price Bus to beach

I booked and payed to stat at the occidental jandia playa hotel util ten first of June and I payed 3400 pounds I only stayed for 4 days before the duty manager and the jet2 rep asked me to leave the hotel and keep all my money ans said to because I was. In a whealchair that kind of person is not welcome in the hotel and jet 2 rep did nothing ar all and jet2 will not give my private transport I payed for and won't give my flight home wich I payed for

During our stay at the hotel we booked the al acarte restaurant for 4 adults and 1 child. Upon entering we were told to leave to go to the main restaurant and only allowed to stay after making clear we had paid. We sat down and when it came to ordering food and drinks the waitress completely ignored the child for food and drinks and we had to approach to order food and drinks for them. The food was terrible and not as described, the “Pad Thai” was noodles with soy sauce. When it came to the second course one of the guests at the table hadn’t finished eating and his food was ushered away. When it came to desert the item on the menu we all wanted was unavailable, the waitress told us it was an error on the menu and we couldn’t order it. Food was so bad we hardly ate anything so when we left we went down to the main restaurant to get something to eat and as it turns out the “al acarte” restaurant isn’t so luxurious and exclusive as 90% of the menu and 100% of the items we chose were actually available to everyone else that night who didn’t pay the extra 87 euros that we had to. After complaining and being told to come back 45 minutes later for a manager at 9.30pm?? We eventually spoke to him and he claimed that he’s so sorry and there’s nothing he can do because of the “type of complaint”. We asked what type of complaint would allow a refund and he said an incorrect menu which we explained it was with the deserts but he still denied being able to refund us. It was absolutely atrocious and a huge waste of money. Apart from the experience hotel was good.

Positive notes first, the hotel from the onset looks lovely, splash park is great, staff friendly and welcoming Unfortunately there are a few negative, first night we arrived we were in a room that clearly joins with next door, the doors were left unlocked and cleaners came into our room at 1030pm (we have a 1 year old so not ideal). Situation was resolved and doors were locked but should be checked prior. Terrace has a severe ants issue, we couldn't let our little one on the terrace as they were everywhere Unfortunately the comments about the food are correct, very hit and miss and if its lukewarm that's good

Fantastic hotel and best holiday. Delicious food, lovely staff, beautiful views, great entertainment team and spotless rooms. Great place for families as loads of fun for kids. You can’t ask for more. Will be back soon. Our next happy place.

I enjoyed my stay, good location, weather, very clean. great ocean view in buildig 4, 2nd floor (keep in mind no elevator there to help with luggage). We had really windy weather and our children was freezing after 30mins in pools, we recommend diving wetsuit. Great water slides. Romms big enought but oldy (clean, but you can see it's not new). Lots of stairs and hikes. Food average imho, lots of options, most of it fast food

Very nice location, not too far from the beach but it’s up the hill so the return it’s a bit difficult for old people or for the parents with kids in push chairs. The food was ok, not the best but not the worst… I would say average. Over all for a small budget, with not to much expectations it is a good location for a family with kids.
