Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace

Just left this Lovely Hotel. Plus side the room was great. V comfy bed. Little fridge with drinks. Well lit. Great air con. & a fab bath with a great responsive shower! Clean towels changed as you needed. The location is also very good. Mins from the beach which is great. & show the sunrise just to the left. Food. The variety for the 3 meals of the day is amazing. So many fresh items so well cooked for you to ur taste. With steaks & fish / Seafood my personal faves. & the Japanese was amazing do not miss it. The Bar full of so many top brand names & the service is second to none! All staff we met were very attentive. & a pleasure to be around. The still good but could be better bits The pools are freezing cold. The pool bar could have fresh snacks available at all times. The corridors are very very dark at all times but esp early morning going out for sunrise or late at night. The entertainment was a bit below par. Poss just our taste? I will 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to go to FV

This hotel is exactly as described by every other 5 star reviewer on here. The staff work tirelessly, they all go out of their way to help, assist, serve, greet, clean & maintain Iberostar Palace. I read a review that said 'speak to reception if you have an issue". I second that opinion. They are trained to iron out any issue. We had a room issue, Yolander sorted it, we had a safe issue, the maintenance person came within 15 mins. The attention to detail is apparent. As well as a daily maid, there is an evening maid too who pulls curtains, replaces any towels & leaves a chocolate on your pillow. Thoroughness is well observed here. I am very into fitness & I was impressed by the gym, although small, it was well stocked & maintained with a good range of free weights, barbells, safety clips, medicine balls & even a weightlifting cage. Often resort gyms have damaged, out-dated equipment, not with Iberostar Palace. I've uploaded gym photos of the weights section as I always wish someone else would do this when I'm reading reviews. To the hotel, could you purchase a barbell neck support please for guests to use? I also had a massage. Coral, my masseur was phenomenal. When lying on my front, she placed a towel under my feet for comfort & when on my back; a towel very lightly over my eyes to ensure I relaxed. She was very experienced & didn't scrimp on time. I left floating on air. The Japanese restaurant was worth a visit. It was a fun evening. Someone commented that reserving sun beds is frowned upon; that didn't stop people putting towels down I'm afraid. We like early morning sun & were often settled around the pool by 8.30. We are normally beach people, but having the sunbeds overlooking the sea made the convenience of the pool attractive. The sun bed mattresses are very comfortable & the pool is blissfully quiet. Staff came around with a trolley offering melon or a sneaky late afternoon cocktail. We even had a saxophonist serenade the pool one afternoon. I particularly enjoyed not having to remember to carry a room key. It was delightful to have the room key chip in the form of a wrist band. My top tips for the hotel are: If you are a water guzzler like me, the karafe in the room won't see you far & Iberostar Palace is ethically plastic free. Bring a large water bottle to keep topping up. Swim up rooms are worth every penny, but rooms on the end of the block are a bit of a push to call a swim up room. These tips are not related to the hotel: The beach sun loungers are €15 a day cash only There's a public toilet on the beach but the lady's door doesn't close, take your own loo roll with you & don't flush it down the loo! There is a toilet at the cafe too. There's a fantastic running path at the base of the hotel access to the beach. You'll need your phone torch if you're going pre-sunrise, but watching the sun rise on your run back is outstanding

Lovely hotel, good facilities, excellent food and friendly helpful staff. Couldn’t ask for more. This is our second visit too, we came back a s we liked it so much.

This is the 4th time we have visited this hotel and it seems to get better every visit. The staff definitely make the hotel what it is and are always there to help. Food is excellent and the Japanese restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The drinks are top class and varied and the system where a designated member of staff takes your order, ensures that you are served very quickly at your table. This last visit definitely made us want to return again and we should be back in November. I cannot fault this hotel in any way.

We returned from the Iberostar Selection last week, and wish we were still there! This hotel is by far the best all-inclusive we have ever stayed at. From the warm welcome, the exceptional service continued throughout the duration of our stay. Our room was lovely, having a sea view, and plenty of space. There was a large wardrobe, plenty of hangers and a big bathroom with a fab shower, toiletries, robes and lots of lovely soft towels. The main restaurant was lovely. There was plenty of room between the tables, and it was light and airy. The food itself was just exceptional in terms of quality and choice. There was something different every night, and during our stay we enjoyed steak, duck, lobster and so many different types of freshly cooked fish. There was a huge choice of salads, pasta, desserts and cheeses. We couldn’t fault the food at all. There were plenty of activities available every day, and although we chose only to take part in a couple of these, we did enjoy daily walks along the beach and went swimming in the sea a couple of times. There are shows each night, finishing around 10-10.30, at which point the majority of guests seems to go to bed. The bar does however, remain open until 12.30! If we had to choose one thing which set this hotel apart from others however, it would have to be the staff. They were simply amazing. They worked smoothly as a team, always smiling, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The staff certainly deserve acknowledgement as they definitely help to make this hotel what it is. 👏👏👏 Overall, we just had the best time in Fuerteventura and would, without hesitation, recommend this hotel. Just as a side note, there are some negative reviews of this hotel, commenting on the tired and outdated appearance of the reception area and other parts of the hotel - I think there may be some confusion as there are three Iberostar hotels within a very short distance of one another. I can only assume that the negative comments should refer to one of the other hotels as this hotel is neither tired nor outdated!

The first time we stayed here (last April), we loved it soo much we stayed an extra week. We came back again last week (23rd January), and we’re, again, soo impressed by the whole experience. Check-in lovely and smooth with a cold glass of Prosecco. The rooms and the hotel are spotless, lovely mini bar in the room which is topped up everyday (soft drinks as well as beer and Prosecco). Lovely quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion in the bathroom, so no need to bring any of that. Bathrobes and slippers too. Great coffee machine with pods too. It was my birthday while we were here and we returned to our room and there was a card and a basket of gifts and a bottle of Prosecco. Lovely touch! The food is absolutely amazing! I have never seen such a great choice at an all inclusive. Fresh meat and fish cooked to order, seafood to die for, more dishes than I can mention. The Japanese restaurant is well worth a visit too. I treated myself to a visit to the spa, which was a wonderful experience. Overall, the staff absolutely make this hotel experience truly wonderful, always happy, hard working, kind and courteous. I would personally like to mention SEVILLANO and ALIOU, who are soo kind and attentive and even remembered us from last year. Needless to say, we have already booked again for April and literally can not wait! Thankyou all soo much for another amazing holiday!
