We accidentally stumbled upon this resort in February, 2024 and just HAD to come back. It is beautifully situated at the base of the Newport/Jamestown bridge in a very peaceful location with wonderful walks around State Parks on the coast and a short drive to beautiful Narragansett Beach, and a few minutes over the bridge and you're in Newport with their quaint shops, impressive Mansions and exhiliarating Cliff Walk. My only wish is that they had at least some rooms with a King size bed (Queen size only) and a kitchen. However, each room does have a good size pull out couch in addition to the Queen size bed and there is a fridge/microwave/coffee maker and great restaurants nearby. Would come back a million times!!

This was the perfect location for a nice romantic getaway. The resort was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was great with quick access over to Newport. The restaurant had the best clam chowder and all the restaurants that we ate at all week long.

This place is five star. Excellent. Very nice kept rooms, excellent service, excellent atmosphere with an absolutely killer view. The restaurant attached to the Inn is a must while visiting. The area is very quiet in Serene with lovely small fishing village to shop in and walk around.

Jamestown is beautiful island to stay while visiting RI. I'm originally from RI and come up to New England every year. The Bay Voyage was comfortable and the staff was great. The restaurant, JB's on the Water, has seasonal and exceptional menu choices. We ate there 3 times and every item was delicious.

We booked two rooms in this hotel/ time share 8 months ago because of a wedding in Newport. I’m giving it 5 stars despite a few very minor hiccups because it was such a great value (compared to much more costly Newport hotels.) These are the great things about it: 1)Very friendly staff - excellent greeting every time we entered the lobby. 2)We tried to check in early but our rooms weren’t ready until closer to 4 pm but there is a great waiting room with cold lemonade and games that made the wait very comfortable. 3)Free parking was a great perk and there was always an available parking place 4) Rooms were spacious with full kitchenette- which was perfect as we needed a fridge for baby’s milk 5) beds were comfortable with ample pillows 6) the attached bar and restaurant was a big perk 7) free washer/dryer in the gym was great for washing baby clothes 8) great location in Jamestown - super convenient to both Newport and Narragansett- and on a cute little spot with water views from some of the rooms 9) room was very clean , shower was decent, ample ice in gym with ice bags Hiccups - sticky hair dryer in one room needed replacement, some of the furniture and furnishings were decidedly dated and a bit shabby

I love this quaint Inn! The location is fantastic, just a short boat ride away from Newport, so you do not need to drive there…One of my favorite restaurants is in Jamestown, Beech Restaurant- a must go to restaurant! Waterfront rooms have a beautiful view, with the boats in the harbor and the Jamestown Bridge in the background! The Bay Voyage Inn has a pool, which is also, so convenient. The Bay Voyage Restaurant is located right on the property with beautiful views and always seems to be quite bustling. Isabelle, at the front desk, is what makes the Bay Voyage Inn run so smoothly…I have seen Isabelle- several times, handle a few situations at once and always remained so professional and pleasant/personable, even when other guests were not so polite…Isabelle is a great asset to the Inn!! I recommend the Bay Voyage Inn- convenience- location- and the staff -

We made a short move from Club Wyndham Long Warf in Newport across the Claiborne Pell Bridge to Wyndham Bay Voyage Inn in Jamestown. The major reason for the move was availability but it also opened up a new area to easy access. Frankly, this condo wasn't quite as nice - smaller with only a partial kitchen. On the other hand, it had a great restaurant (JB's on the Water) on site with great views, good food and reasonable (for the area) prices.
