Pili Pili Sunrise

A special thanks to the Pili Pili team, Joseph, Mary, Angess and all the bar and housekeeping staff. Thank you for my birthday cake, everyone at Pili Pili made my day extra special. The food at Beach House was superb and the staff were absolutely awesome. Thank you to everyone within the management team, excellent service. My stay was wonderful. I am planning my next visit to Zanzibar ❤️ Asante sana 😁

The staff are exceptional. Lovely beautiful people. The food really good and accosted my food allergies. The view when you walk in is beautiful. The staff helped me pull off Birthday party for best friend turning 50. They came out singing for her. She was so surprised and happy.

By far, this was the worst hotel experience I seen in Zanzibar, Africa or even globally! The room was bad, hardly working water, AC not proper working and breakfast was so bad, it takes them an hour to prepare scrambled eggs and serve them cold Even when you invited us for apology dinner, the food was too late that we left after an hour and half waiting for food Finally not to mention, the sun bed broke while i was on it and the water boiler was not functioning properly

All PiliPili hotels have a terrible standard. There is mold in the rooms, stench, clogged toilets, frequent power outages, old beds, no towels. The food was poor, scarce and expensive. They try to charge double the reservation fee - thieves! They also cancel the reservation at the last minute and do not return the advance payment. Avoid these hotels because they are scammers! The photos on the websites have nothing to do with reality. They are computer-corrected and stretched. False reviews on booking - they write them themselves.

We booked the property for their deluxe quAdraple sea view room with bath as it looked stunning on photos. The room was pretty good though, but the views from the balcony were excellent. Apart from this nothing else about the property was worth a visit. The breakfast and pool area are run down. Flies all around while you have breakfast. We left and took the food to our room. The breakfast options in itself were not appealing and tasted average. Electricity was a massive issue and the light kept tripping in our room. No phone in room so you have to climb up and all the way down for any query. For a fancy boutique room, there was nothing provided like slippers, dental kit etc, and what was shocking was they didn’t have a dental kit at all when asked. A basic fruit like banana wasn’t there for baby at the breakfast. The kettle burst giving me a slight shock and stopped working. I had to run behind them to provide me got water to make baby food. There was a manager named Jonathan who also asked me if the baby was playing with the kettle for it to burst which was the most studied response he could give, But after we complained, one of their managers Saif was prompt enough to be at our service. They packed us to-go breakfast for the next day which was good.

Pili Pili Boho My friend and I were booked to stay here in December (we were actually booked in Sunrise, but it’s right next door and so very lovely!) The rooms were very clean, breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredible (shout out to Alan, the hotel manager). There were real personal touches like spraying the room with mosquito spray in the evening, and Alan helping with excursions and anything else that we needed. Please be aware of the beach sellers, we got scammed for quite a bit of money (nothing to do with the hotel)
