AAGuyfromKLI recently stayed at the newly opened Pan Pacific Hotel Jakarta, and I must say, the experience was a pleasant one overall. The hotel boasts stunning views of the city skyline, offering a perfect backdrop whether you're relaxing in your room or enjoying the shared spaces. The ambiance is elegant yet modern, making it a very nice place to stay, especially for those looking for a comfortable and stylish getaway in the heart of Jakarta.
The hotel’s location is also a major plus – strategically situated near various malls and points of interest, it’s perfect for travelers who love to explore the city’s shopping and entertainment offerings.
However, there’s room for improvement in terms of guest service and event management. During my stay, several areas of the hotel were inaccessible due to private events, which was a bit disappointing. The breakfast café was relocated to a different room to accommodate a private party, and unfortunately, some food items were unavailable due to the temporary setup. While I understand the need to host events, I do hope the hotel will consider better planning to ensure guests are not inconvenienced, especially when paying for a premium experience.
That said, I still had a great stay overall, and I believe the hotel has strong potential as it continues to fine-tune its operations. I would definitely recommend Pan Pacific Jakarta, especially for those looking for a new luxury hotel with incredible views and easy access to many of Jakarta’s top attractions.

GGuest UserWe did’n like the scent of the air freshener used in the room which is lemongrass scented. It smells sour taste and not fresh feeling.
Even the bodywash shampoo conditioner and handwash are lemongrass based too. And doesnt smell as fresh and delicate as the usual 5 star hotel. Quite disapointing.

AAnonymous UserThe front desk there has very good hospitality with warm greeting and smile. As well provide you and suggest you options and do not push you. Thumbs up for their front desk. we do not request for house keeping, and eventually they call and approach us to check if we need any amenities, which surprise us with their good service. The hotel has a layer of securities where they will check the car/taxi entering their premises, which make me feel safe. If you wish to buy some groceries , there are some mart out there which is walking distance, but pls do expect the road is not so proper to walk at the roadside as there are a lot of cars and motorcycles.. The room come with kitchen where we can do simple cooking (provided u have the groceries).. I will stay back the same hotel if I back to Jakarta again ..

GGuest UserNice design and basic room. Nothing much around the vicinity of the hotel even though it is in Dharmawangsa . . unfortunately the wrong side!
So if you are looking for cafes, bars, eateries around the hotel better not stay here. This hotel is attached to a convention hall which I believe is popular for weddings. So could be crowded and noisy if there is a wedding or event going on. Breakfast was pretty good and affordable. Service overall is very good . . all the staff try to make the guests happy.
The cafe food is ok if you stick to the standard Indonesian cuisine. We tried the Tom Yam Goong Soup and it was totally not right! But in all fairness the F&B manager did not charge us for it after we gave him the feedback.
Will probably stay again if we have meetings that way.

Overall, room was nice but too DARK! no good spot for make up since its too dark. lighting very in need of improvement. Daytime light was okay since the room is surrounded by window, but at night, Junior suite room barely have any lights (only 2 hanging yellow dime light and the ceiling light above the window curtain.. imagine how dime is the room).
Unfortunately, just after check in, found a small cockroach in the bathroom. went hidden after calling Housekeeping, but it was not dead. Pest control could be improved.
For a four star hotel and higher category room type, i believe amenities could be improved. as the soap & shampoo provided was uncomparable below standard of other 4 star property like ascott / marriott, since they're using small tube of soap and shampoo. maybe they're cutting the cost there.
breakfast overall was good. many variety of food from Indonesian - Asian - International. But eggs station could be improved, as during rush hour, the queue was quite long. It can be seen that the chef is overwhelmed and causing the food quality to go down.

MMarty EdwinThis is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. I really enjoy staying here. The coffee shop downstairs is great. The rooms are a nice size and well laid out. My previous stay I was in a room that had a great table to work on my laptop during the day. This time I was in a room witha different layout, not as good for working at the desk. I asked if I could be moved back to a similar room as before and the staff sorted it out for me straight away and moved me to the same as my old room on the same floor. Its in a great location for me in Jakarta and also the area around the hotel is not so busy and easy to walk to the market close by and around to the main road. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Jakarta.

I stayed in a well-appointed guest room that was both modern and functional. The room was clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed with practical touches like a comfortable work desk, fast Wi-Fi, and an excellent mattress that provided restful sleep. Although not large, the space was cleverly utilized, and the city views added a nice urban charm. Amenities like complimentary bottled water, a coffee maker, and a spacious bathroom with quality toiletries were appreciated.

While the property is more business-focused and compact compared to larger luxury hotels, it still offers everything essential for a pleasant stay. Breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant was impressive, featuring a good spread of both Indonesian and Western options. Everything was fresh and replenished frequently. Jjames setiawanHave stayed at this hotel twice. Always satisfied with our stay. Friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. The onsen facility is what keeps us coming back to this hotel. One of the facilities that we think is really worth visiting. The food at the restaurant is also quite varied with a pretty good taste. Thank you Kuretakeso. We will be back again.
