This hotel is very close to the drop off point for bus and coaches. You can see the main castle fort tower from the rooftop. The town itself is small so close to everywhere too. The building is clean. The room is nice and traditional with nice decor. The staff are polite and helpful and I especially enjoyed talking to the waiter at breakfast time and practicing my language skills. He had a good sense of humour and advice for navigating the town and shops The restaurant is rooftop and has nice views. The prices are in line with other restaurants in the town. I would recommend. I booked several days more here too.

I don't know how the rating of this hotel is 4.5. The booking was done for 2 days based on the so called nice pictures on TripAdvisor. We had booked the rooms for 3850 per day. The room they allotted us was very small, lizard and flies roaming around the room , the walls are dirty with shoe marks till waist height in each wall. The washroom was not so clean. We then requested the manager to shift to other room as this was not clean at all. Then they showed us couple of rooms after multiple requests(which according to them costs 1500 more than 3850) but none of the rooms are clean or as per the images across the web. These rooms also had shoe marks on the wall and are very stuffy and claustrophobic. The worst part was they had multiple other empty rooms but they were unwilling to show them. At last we decided to move out and shifted to a nearby hotel whose rooms are far more maintained and clean for the same rates as Hotel Neeraj.

We went on a safari with Hotel Roop Mahal and it was probably one of the best experience I’ve ever had. We wanted to be by ourselves in the desert with my 3 other friends and Chandra promised us we would be alone. He was right. Just us and two camel men in the middle of the desert, riding our camels in the sand dunes, watching the sunset with a homemade chai tea while waiting for dinner to be cooked and we slept in sleeping bags watching the sky full of stars. AMAZING.

The location is very good at 200 meters from the entrance of the castle. Facing the palace, the hotel is relatively small. The owner and a worker are very enthusiastic. The order is a deluxe room. Although the price is low, the room I stayed in does not meet the description. I don’t know if There are rooms that meet the description, but the overall situation is still okay. In addition to being a bit simpler, the price of food and beverages is not too outrageous, and it is not much different from the outside.

Absolutely good value for money, the best place to spend in India for a few days, the hotel is at the top of the castle, overlooking the entire ancient city on the rooftop. From the airport, take a taxi for 800 rupees (back to the airport is 700). Since the car at the hotel is not accessible, the driver needs to contact the hotel in advance. The hotel will arrange a waiter to pick up at the gate of the city. The hotel can make an appointment to arrange a camel charter 2000. Other items are another. Be sure to tell in advance which items you want to play and what you don't want to play. There is a shop near the city gate to exchange for the brand on the rupee road. The exchange rate is the highest among the four cities I have visited. Don't miss it. There are residents living in the ancient city, so the price is still relatively moderate, the locals are very enthusiastic and very talkative, and there is a feeling of a tourist village. The hotel is very beautifully furnished, the food is very delicious and the price is not expensive. The best is the waiter. The service is very good. It is very humorous. It’s just that my English is really shameful and he can’t understand if he can’t talk to him. Jamin was very welcoming and accomodating in my trip to Jaisalmer. The accomodation is very comfortable and he organised an excellent overnight camel safari in the desert, lead by Danil. He took me to the fort and he played an active role in many of the places I visited throughout Jaisalmer.
