Murad Haveli

This hotel is close to the fortcity and at 10 minutes from the beautiful lake. The staff is really very kind and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable with good beds. The food is nice and I love the masala tea. The view from the rooftop is really amazing. A romantic view for sure. Excellent value for money.

Rooftop kitchen filthy and unhygienic. Everywhere garbage and no cleaning in kitchen.they will make you check out early though they have mentioned 12:00pm on make my trip. Power cut many times in a day. I got electric shock in washroom many times. The guy who is working in kitchen is very rude and doesn’t have manners. In short they don’t know about hospitality . Coffee and paratha is inedible. We asked for regular paratha they gave us gobi one as it’s expensive than normal one. Coffee was yukkk Hope you understand and go somewhere where they help you to make your trip memorable not like and bad experience

Mu-rad haveli was a great choice and we are glad we booked it. Let me just summarise their positives since it is too much to write. Firstly, they offered free pickup and drop to railway station, that too at very odd times. Next is their hospitality and the friendly staff, rahim was happy to help for anything and everything. Next is their facilities and desert safari. It was quite reasonably priced and well organised at a secluded spot. Further, their location is great and all sightseeing points are walking distance. Further, the food they served was very tasty and had great value for money. Moreover, they continuously provided us free of charge mineral water. They complied with all our requests and kept food for us when we arrived late at night. Sorry, that i don't remember all of their names but hasim and all others made our stay memorable. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again.

The host Murad and the staff members viz. Rahim were really helpful and attentive to all needs. The room is compact but comfortable and the views of the fort are amazing from the rooftop restaurant. The best part is that it is just a 10 -20 min walk from Jaisalmer Fort, Gadisar Lake and Patwaon ki Haveli . They also organised desert night camping experience which was wonderful. Overall quite happy with my stay here. Just a couple of suggestions - better towels and a hot water kettle in the rooms would make a big difference

I simply cannot say enough good things about the team here. We had had a suitcase mixup in Delhi which meant that we needed to get our suitcase from Delhi and return the other couple’s suitcase. The gentlemen at Murad Haveli went above and beyond in their actions. They dropped everything to help us and accompanied us to the Post Office, travel agent, train station etc. as we worked out the different possibilities. When someone takes you personally across town to meet an incoming train at midnight to get a suitcase, and navigates the sometimes bewildering experience that is Indian railways on your behalf, you know that you’ve found truly exemplary service! They very much want their guests to feel at home, and we were overwhelmed by their patience, friendliness and general helpfulness. The air-conditioned rooms are simple and spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and beautifully decorated with local fabrics. The rooftop restaurant is a great place to chill out with a drink while enjoying the amazing view onto Jaisalmer Fort. Breakfast is cooked to order, as are lunch and dinner dishes. My wife especially recommends the banana muesli for breakfast.

Awesome Home Stay, Hasim and his crew make you feel like family the entire stay. Just a super gracious host! We booked here because we read they do a great overnight Camel Safari and we were not disappointed! We will miss the beautiful views dining and having Chai on the roof top!
