The hotel is quite nice, in a small cosy street with a handful of other hotels and restaurants. The room was quite alright, high ceiling, clean and well ventilated. I had some issues with the staff, I found them a bit rude, but not as rude as the tuctuc driver gang that hangs outside these cosy hotels. The breakfast was also nice. All in all very good value for your money. In general, when it comes to Jaipur, I had the least pleasant stay of all the places I have visited in India the last two months. I still can recommend the place for a shorter visit.

As they say 'a story per stay', I have always experienced great memories staying here. This is our go to place and Anshu always makes us feel like family...cordial staff and place is beautiful. The view of Hathroi fort and ambience is lovely. Food is good.

Dear traveler, If you’re reading this, let me tell you—you’ve just found one of the best stays! This was easily one of my most memorable experiences in recent years. A cozy, charming, and welcoming place, perfect for a comfortable stay. I’m someone who rarely leaves reviews, but I just had to for this one! The vibe of this place was incredible, and a huge shoutout to the property owner, Anshu. He went above and beyond to guide me on the best places to visit and the must-try local delicacies, making my birthday trip even more special. A delightful bonus? I got a free upgrade, which made the stay even better! The hospitality was top-notch, and the in-house food was absolutely delicious—I ended up having dinner there for two nights straight! If you're considering staying here, don’t think twice. It’s an experience worth having!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The staff were extremely polite and welcoming, and the location is perfect. The property has a beautiful traditional vibe that really enhances the Jaipur experience. Special mention to the owner, Mr. Ravi Sharma, who was incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. Highly recommended, especially for families!

I had an amazing experience. We visited several areas and the hotel alone was amazing. Had a lot of fun with auto bhaiya Iqbal Khan whom we booked for the entire trip. Will surely recommend this hotel to everyone and an auto ride with bhaiya.

We had the best experience at chitra katha. Our auto vale bhaiya - Iqbal Khan is a total gentleman, very soft spoken, knows all the places around, keeps you and makes you feel very very safe. Would 10/10 recommend atleast one trip in his auto. Anshu ji at Chitra Katha radiates warmth, try turkish eggs while you are here - it's amazing. The whole stay and travel felt like a vacation with family.

I was in Jaipur for some work with a friend, and he told me about this place and its owner, Anshu. I’d heard from others that Anshu Sharma, who runs Chitra Katha, is not just a hotel owner but also a poet and writer. When you stay here, he always has a story to share. The hotel has a great vibe peaceful, welcoming, and full of character. The food is delicious, and the ambience makes you want to just sit back and soak it all in. Anshu and his team are genuinely kind and make you feel at home. We stayed for three days, and it was such a good experience. If you’re in Jaipur and want peace, good food, and maybe a few stories ***** the way, Chitra Katha is definitely worth a visit.
