An amazing experience at Double Tree by Hilton Amer except for 2 minor instances. We were warmly welcomed by front office executive Mrunmayi with warm cookies and our keys, the room was well appointed and clean. We had a wonderful dinner experience on our first night in this hotel, the F&B team particularly Nimesh and Pravat who took good care of me and my family, we ordered ala carte and the experience was wonderful. Next day morning we were again greeted warmly in The Amber Kitchen by Rohit Khatri, Nimesh and Pravat, we enjoyed our breakfast thoroughly. On day 2 we were very late but hungry to come to restaurant however we expected that since other table orders were still taken by staff we too would be able to do so, however we were told that restaurant is closed Kavita though tried to check with her colleague Rohit the bar executive if they can still serve us some food, however he blatantly denied it to us , this was unexpected from a Hilton brand particularly when we were with a kid and were exhausted, tired and hungry. Kavita however offered to serve in restaurant but only from room dining g menu, which was still ok and we didn't have to sleep with empty stomach. Some Customer Sensitivity trainings highly recommended here for this incident. Next day was another wonderful experience and everything went well this time. On day of check out we realized some kind of cartel going on with cab guys, when trying to book cabs thru popular apps we were getting all the options of 5 minutes away but every time we try to book the driver asked us to call on his cell when I called he asked for 1000 for a simple drop to city which on app was shown as 380 bucks, Hotel charges were good but fixed for 4hrs package, my suggestion is to charge something in between to passengers who just need drop or provide shuttle service for a fixed but nominal cost , this will make the hotel popular in kukas amongst customers like us who didn't come with own cars. Overall a great experience and will surely visit again.
