We loved Bastar Jungle Resort, and we were well looked after by the very kind Mr Gerrard and his team. The resort is set away off the beaten track, surrounded by forest. The dawn and dusk birdsong of the forest was very special, and I slept unbelievably well. The rooms were enormous, with comfy beds, and huge bathrooms with excellent showers and hot water. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and it was great to have the space to spread out stuff after a number of days of dusty travelling. The large verandahs attached to the rooms were perfect for sitting out for our evening tipple before heading to supper. It was calm and peaceful and we were sorry to leave. To manage expectations, the resort does need a little love and attention, and a good gardener is needed to tame some of the out of control plants which would benefit from cutting back, but on the other hand, we all just thoroughly enjoyed the slightly wild nature of the place, and the peace. And we much enjoyed meeting Mr Gerrard.

Rooms are very spacious, clean and staff behaviour is very good. Hotel is in a prime location, restaurant is there. Food is also tasty. Overall a nice experience. I reached around 2 am in the morning and they allowed me early checkin also.

Location is good. Though the property is an old one but still the room condition was perfect. They care a lot about cleanliness. Food is excellent. Staffs are very well behaved. Response time from staffs at par with any star hotel. Overall a very nice experience.

GGuest UserThe stay in lakshmi palace, jagdalpur is very pleasant. It one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in my life. It is like home. The owner of the hotel stays in the same building. He takes care of every guests of the hotel. He takes lot of risk to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Hats of the lakshmi palace, jagdalpur. I remember the owner of the hotel when i remember jagdalpur in future it seems. Thank you so much for the support and cooperation. Awesome hotel it is in the heart of the city.

Excellent
The Best Hotel at Jagdalpur, Nice and comfortable stay. The rooms are very spacious and nicely made. The Vegan story is a Pure veg restaurant and Sky Dhaba is Multicuisine Non Veg restaurant with view of swimming pool at roof top. The food quality and service is awesome, Chicken Dum Biriyani and non veg starters are excellent. Even Veg options are also very nice.

GGuest UserProperty is new and up to the standard. People are cordial. Breakfast spread must be improved. There is only one non-veg item that is boiled egg. The average food price of the hotel is very high. Otherwise the location is good, just opposite the bus stand.
