Hotel South Beach

It was a beautiful property, the rooms were nice and clean. Felt very safe there and the staff were very warm and helpful. Made it easy for us to catch the bus to Orontina right outside the hotel. The only things that kinda ****** was the bar closed early and so we brought our own drinks but they didn’t have any ice. The front desk said we could get ice at the restaurant but when we went to get ice there, they said sorry we don’t have any. Luckily the fridge in the room worked but wasn’t easy to take our cooler to the beach because it’s so hot!

We absolutely love the location of this hotel on the beach! Walking the beach at 6 AM is a must. The staff was excellent and friendly. We were in the lower unit, and the only downside is that we had a very noisy people stomping around above us until midnight, but I think that it was perfect..

The room is old and need some up keeping. Very close to the beach. The service at the restaurant was great and the food was good.

The best thing about this property was the location. It's right on the beach, with a pool, free breakfast and bar. The property itself was average. The staff was friendly. The room needed updating. You could feel the springs in the beds and the sheets were smelly. The bathroom is sufficient, but small. I wouldn't stay here again.

Our stay was good. Pros: beach front, good food, good air conditioning, seems secure Cons: could use a little maintenance, food is a little over priced, shower with inconsistent water temperature, some workers were not very kind

We enjoyed the beach being just on the other side of the pool which we could almost see from out room. Bar seemed cool and beach vibe was dope.

They have mostly wonderful staff, very accommodating. We certainly loved that the beach and pool, right outside our door.

This was a lovely property. I wished there were more hooks in the rooms to hang wet bathing suits etc. Also I wish there was a changing daily special on the menu so that the food does not get dull after a few days.

Stayed here Fri-Mon in December and it was overall good . Check in was easy and the staff was welcoming. There is parking available on site that is guarded . The room we stayed in was the first room in the garden view area. The room has AC , TV, fridge and 2 full size beds. The room was outdated , a light fixture by the door had a broken cover so it was a bit blinding ,but we did not spend much time in the room .The bathroom could’ve been cleaner with little effort but it could be due to it having only a screen and no window. Make sure to BRING your WASH RAGS & hairdryer. I borrowed a hair dryer from the front desk but had to return .They provide beach towels , ice and complimentary break fast. All the plants on the hotel site were beautiful and taken care of . The Food was delicious ! Pool was nice , not deep with a cute waterfall. The beach bar was convenient and great ! The hotel being on the beach front was everything! They have security guards in the entrance and beach entrance which made me feel safe. 15 minute walk to Jaco ***** . There are activities such as horse back riding next door and surf lessons on site available. There are a lot of rocks on the beach which hurt to walk on so bring water shoes . Beautiful view of sunset while sitting on the lawn chairs. We had a Red Iguana visit us in front of our rooms tree 😁. Cute hotel pets were on site . Thank you for the Great stay !
