It has many Japanese drama filming locations and first-class facilities and services. The environment is beautiful, with bamboo trails nearby for walking, hot and cold foot baths, and authentic restaurants where you can enjoy local cuisine.

I had a very comfortable time from the time I arrived to the time I left. It's also a short walk from the hot spring town, so I was able to take a walk down the bamboo path before dinner, and also take a morning stroll to Shuzenji Temple, which opens at 5am. It was a little further away on the map than other inns with the same price, so I had a hard time deciding which one to choose, but there was no problem in terms of sightseeing distance. The hospitality of the employees, the room with a semi-open-air bath (hot spring) with a view of the forest, the comfortable bedding, and the delicious Kaiseki meal and breakfast in a modern private room made with local specialties. It was my first experience to lie down in the bathtub in the large public bath. The well-kept garden, fresh flowers and furniture inside the hotel were also impressive. The bath towels and amenities in the room are color-coded with embroidery and stickers, and I often wonder where I put my toothbrush and cup when I travel. It was nice to be able to tell which one was mine by the color of the embroidery even when I hung up the used towel. This was my first time receiving such a service and I was very pleased with the care.
