The staff is friendly and efficient, offering a pleasant online check-in. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection. Spacious, well-equipped rooms with minimalist decor. Clean rooms with a pleasant view. Conveniently located.

Hotel was ok. Location was central close to Metro. Breakfast there was a good variety. Pool but extremely small. We stayed as a large family group with 4 rooms. It suited us as we just needed a shower and a bed as we spent our days exploring. The hotel is suitable for this. staff were friendly.

We checked into this hotel just before 3 o’clock and were casually told that our room would have no water for an hour because there had been a leak. In fact the room had no water for several hours, not even to flush a toilet or brush your teeth. Things happen. But what was shocking was that the staff were casual to the point of surliness. Because I needed to go to a formal work event, they gave us the key to a different room in a different building where we were able to have a sort of shower (though the shower was broken and the water came out of a hose, but not from the shower-head). That room was not just grubby, like the whole hotel, but also decorated like something out of a Gothic novel. When I asked for a bottle of water to boil the kettle, I was told that I could buy one from a vending machine. This seemed like the last straw. There was no suggestion of a refund our even a discount for our inconvenience, and a single small bottle of water only offered after I complained. An apology did not seem within the rhetorical range of the staff at this dreadful establishment.

If it were not for the courtyard and the pool this would be a decidedly average hotel. The rooms themselves are pretty small and basic with only limited space. The bathroom was a reasonable size but could have done with a bit of an upgrade, it looked rather worn. The breakfast selection was OK but nothing to particularly write home about. The hotel is 'saved' by its little walled garden and small outdoor pool which is heated and so I was still able to take a nighttime dip in late November. The spot is attractive and a definite plus as is the hotel location. It is just a ten minute walk to the metro station and the centre of Brussels is easy to access by metro or on foot (allow 20-30 minutes). Overall, this is really a budget-style hotel albeit one with a garden and a pool.

What a gem of a hotel. I loved my room, with views over the garden. The room was of generous proportions, had everything I needed (electric jug, good reading lights, very comfy bed and (yay, so rare!) plenty of clothes hangers. The breakfast was absolutely terrific, one of the best I've had in a LOT of hotels the last few years. Recommended in every way. I travel to Brussels fairly regularly lately and have finally found a hotel I will return to.

Simply furnished, generously sized, rooms overlooking the secret courtyard garden which includes a small heated pool. Very friendly helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast with oodles of choice. The hotel is a little outside the city centre but this allows you to experience more than just the usual tourist areas and the centre is only about 20 minutes walk (plus there is good public transport including a metro stop just a few minutes from the hotel).

Me and my Party of 8 stayed at Le Jardin in December 2023. We experienced a very dangerous incident with the Hotel lift, where we crashed down to the ground floor. In return we received terrible customer service. The manager onsite was rude, aggressive and expressed a monumental lack of care to his customers, despite the seriousness of the situation. On the 31st December, eight of us crashed down to the ground floor in the lift. The hotel staff took no initiative to get the guests us of the lift and instead we had to call the fire brigade to rescue us. We did not exceed the lift limit (we weren’t even close). The manager shouted at us after being stuck for over an hour and very quickly made an attempt to charge our Party for the lift crashing. Since then we have made many attempts to communicate with the management about this incident. We have still NOT heard back. The staff appear to be frightened of the management as whenever we contact reception they continue to say there is nothing they can do and they have been told not to pass us onto their superiors. Please do not stay here. You will be wrongly charged for your stay and you will be unable to contact any management regarding any worries/concerns you have during your stay. Such terrible customer service and a real lack of care for human beings.

In December 2023 - January 2024 we stayed at a hotel booked via your platform Le Jardin Secret. During our stay all 8 of our guests got stuck in a lift on floor 3 with it crashing to ground floor, immediately when this happened we called out for help, called reception who ensured us they would call the lift manufacture. Guests stopped outside the lift to check we were okay. We then proceeded to be stuck in this lift for an hour with no help from the hotel. During this time one of the guests had a medical emergency this made our issue a lot more serious and us very concerned. In that time we called the hotel after 25 minutes who told us "they hadn't got hold of the lift company" and didn't know what else they could do. After 45 minutes we called the emergency services in Belgium who immediately sent a fire brigade to get us out. As we got out of the lift the reception manager started counting the bodies (8) and saying too many too many, we proceeded to show both the manager and the fire brigade the sign on the lift which said (8 people and a weight maximum we didn't even close to exceed). The manager left with the fire department assisting with the medical emergency. The next morning I woke up to a £150 deposit charge on my card from the manager of the hotel with an email claiming we had exceeded the amount in the lift (we had not) and this deposit would be then charged further with the price of the damage of the lift. Immediately we went down to reception to ask about this and demand the money get released. They said they were not authorised to do so and the manager in charge was off due to surgery (however this was the same day he had been able to charge our card). We sent an email straight to the manager (email address supplied to us by reception) and still to this day have no heard back. That evening having not received a reply, 3 guests of ours went back to reception to have another conversation with the receptionist, they recorded this call with her consent. In this conversation we discovered that this has not been the first time this has happened with the lift and it has in fact broken down not long before and the signage had still not been changed, the receptionist who first received our call from help had switched over his shift midway through us being stuck and not told the receptionist taking over that 8 guests were stuck. The lift at this point was back open and the signage still not changed putting their guests in danger. She told us she would speak to the manager and get our money released. The money was released shortly after but no reply from the manager or apology from the hotel. The lift remained open with no change to the weight maximum or warning. On returning to the UK a member of our party proceeded to try get in contact with the manager of Le Jardin Secret from 4th January still to this day 28th Feb. He has spoken to multiple workers of Le Jardin Secret all of which have told us the manager is unavailable and only re

This is a nice place and I would stay there again. It is in a good location,it is clean and has friendly reception staff. It is ideal for friends or families. The pool is small so you may not be able to use it. The breakfast optional. Ubers cannot drop you right outside but can nearby.
