I was biking past the hotel and decided to stop there for a night. Hotel staff were very courteous and nice, they even allowed me to keep bike in the separate room designed for such things and they did not mind my dirty road clothing or sporty look although atmosphere was very cozy. Hot springs under the hotel are simply excellent with water red as wine. Unfortunately only one or two baths, but it was quite enough to soak after biking the whole day. I got incredibly spacious room with all necessities and a little bit retro but very pleasant interior. There was japanese garden out of the windows which made my stay even more pleasant. Unfortunately did not enjoy the food because it was just too late to order it but I am very satisfied by this stay and would stay again for sure.

I was at Iwata on a business trip to my parent comapany Yamaha (YMC). The hotel is located conveniently near to the offices (various) in Iwata. The rooms are small but very well furnished with all amenities. The food is good and most important, very frindly staff.

I stayed here for business, but the single room was spacious, had free Wi-Fi, and was comfortable. It would have been even better if there was an outlet near the pillow of the bed. There is a unit bath in the room, but there is also a large natural hot spring bath. It is described as an alkaline simple spring, but it was a dark brown color so deep that you couldn't see the bottom. There is also a sauna and a cold bath. There is also a beer garden in the garden. Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet at the sky restaurant on the 10th floor, with a wide selection of dishes and a great view, so I was very satisfied. The toilets in the rooms and the elevators are a little old, but it is a hotel I would like to use again.

I loved the hotel, the room was very tidy, the breakfast with western options is perfect for foreigners who don't eat rice in the morning. I received 2 hot tub tickets for the 2 stays, but I didn't have time to use them, they wanted to refund me ¥300 at checkout, but I didn't accept.

ホテルについた時は、ずいぶん古いので驚きました。ただ中に入るとレストランなどは綺麗にリニューアルされていて清掃も行き届いていました。地元の古くからある観光ホテルという感じで、結婚式なども多くやっていたのではと思います。中庭などはお洒落でウェディングパーティの写真が映えそうでした。 ホテルは横に広く、客室フロアの移動は結構大変でした。温泉施設は広くはないですが十分な大きさで、ゆったりできました。一方部屋はかなり古さがありましたが、清掃は行き届いていました。 地元のゆるキャラのPRもしていて、好感がもてました。私はまた利用したいと思いました。

ビジネスホテル感覚で利用。 最近は大浴場のあるビジネスホテルが増えてきて嬉しい限りだが、このホテルは温泉というところが非常にポイントが高い！ 温泉に浸かって体を思いっきり伸ばすと一日の疲れが体の底から癒される感じ。 ひと風呂浴びた後は、ホテル内の割烹（？）三栗で好みの品を選びながらの一杯。 美味しいお酒に美味しいお料理に大満足！ しかし、部屋は広いが古い！ 部屋の家具なども一部壊れかけていたり・・・ そこだけが残念なところ。 朝食のバイキングも大変眺めのよい高層階のレストランだったので、部屋の古さも我慢できる範囲内！ 静岡・浜松間でビジネスホテル利用ならこちらが一番のお薦めかも。

駅から遠いし、ホテルの奥行きがあるのでお部屋まで遠い。便利なわけではないけれど、ほかに選択肢のない古いホテルです。 でも、従業員の方は穏やかで親切。朝ご飯はバイキング方式で、質量もまあまあです。海外の人が多くてうるさかった日もあったけれど、それは仕方がないです。 宿泊客は無料という温泉があって、午後６時くらいに行ったら貸切状態でした。サウナも水風呂もあったし、快適快適。

元会社の同僚と有名な磐田の代表的ホテルの食事と宿泊しました、私たちは磐田、袋井に住んでるので親しみを感じていました、食事はの場所は非常に広く飾りものが風流なものがありました、ガラス製の魚網浮き球など、また食事は別の独立した店もありそれぞれの雰囲気が素敵です、後日別の友達と食事だけに利用しました、宿泊した部屋は上部でしたので見晴らしが楽しめました。宿泊にも食事だけでもいいホテルです。

Situé dans une région peu touristique, le Grand Hôtel assure de bonnes prestations. Chambre relativement grande, un peu désuète, mais conforme au standard japoanais, il manquait cependant un peu de chauffage. Petit déjeuné correct et le restaurant propose des plats variés et intéressants. Accueil et service de qualités. Il y a une petite boutique pour les souvenirs.
