This is definitely the best service hotel in Japan. Everyone knows that Japan's service attitude has always been good. This is a bit of a good time. As long as you see the waiter, you will smile and say hello! You can try it for dinner, and the meal is very rich! The hot springs in the hotel are not a bit boring in the open air, but the bubbles are not bad. There are a bunch of deer at the door~... You can call the hotel at the Miyajima Pier. If you want to go to the shrine, you can call the hotel to send you. Room we are on the fourth floor, sea view is OK!

The location is very good, just a few minutes walk to the Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Mt. Misen Ropeway station. There is a free shuttle bus station right outside the hotel to go the ropeway station. You can see the Torii throughout the hotel window. At night when the Torii with lights on, the view is stunning! The indoor onsen is not big but it's ok for 10+ people at the same time, the outside onsen is small and can only occupies 4-5ppl. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and thoughtful. I was fully wet after the hiking to Mt. Mismen on the raining day, they helped me to dry all my shoes and coat. Happy to stay at Iwaso and will definitely stay again.

The service was outstanding. The detail to us was exceptional. The rooms were Great and extremely cosy. It was in December and it was cold and rained while we were there but the villa was a welcome back from our long walks around Miyajima. The staff were extremely polite and respectful. As for the food, it was buffet with oysters…. Say no more…… as much as you can eat, with the utmost respect. Free wine. I cannot get over the fried oysters and French bread, I could eat them for days. The Bakery was exceptional and the marbled bread was delightful. The only negative is, I would hate for be here in Summer as it would be jammed packed.

I highly recommend this ryokan for the exceptional experience including great food, staff & room. My room was a traditional ryokan room with tatami matts but with traditional mattresses. It overlooked the the pedestrian street but was very quiet at night since most tourists visit Miyajima as a daytrip. The staff was gracious enough to setup a futon for me on the tatami matt so that I could sleep traditional Japanese style. Haruka at the front desk was amazing. She speaks limited English but enough to communicate with. She wrote me a very sweet handwritten note that I will keep forever when I asked where I could buy a yukata robe. I had asked her where I could purchase a yukata (traditional Japanese robe). The presentation of the dinner was amazing and worth it. The on-site onsen was was great and was usually all to myself. It has one indoor pool along with a small one on the outdoor deck that overlooks the bay and torii gate. Upon checkout, Haruka escorted me out which I believe is typical of a ryokan. It was sad to leave because of how memorable the stay was! The ryokan was expensive but worth it for the experience. I can't imagine visiting Miyajima only as a day trip. It would be too rushed as there's plenty to do for 2 days. Must sees are the torii gate along with the shrine surrounding it, taking the ropeway up to Mt. Misen (the top of the mountain is about a 20-30 minute steep hike from the end of the ropeway but I recommend it), and finally definitely do not miss Daishoin shrine which was truly amazing. Recommend avoiding Saturday & Sundays as it's very, very crowded.

The best hotel I have stayed in during this trip to Japan. After all, it is the conference hotel for the G7 Hiroshima Summit, and the hardware facilities and software services are excellent. There is a free shuttle bus from Hiroshima Station to the hotel, which runs seven times a day, which is absolutely convenient. You can enjoy the sunrise and sunset over the Seto Inland Sea from your room. The hotel's breakfast is so rich. On the 23rd floor, you can enjoy the incomparable sea view while having breakfast.

I went for the purpose of Hiroshima ware and Miyajima torii gate after construction. The facility was new and the parking lot was large, especially the open-air bath was large, and the scenery was very good. The deluxe room was large and I was able to spend a relaxing time. Since the mother is famous for business hotels, the outlet for charging smartphones and the WIFI environment are also solid. The employees were also pleasant. Children and husbands enjoyed the shampoo bar in the bathroom. The service of beer and ice cream after the bath is good, but there are too many people there, and I feel like a luxury facility. . . but. Later, there were few side dishes for dinner Vikings, and it was blurred that my husband had nothing to eat. The sake was also a free drink, but the husband didn't seem to be satisfied because he couldn't drink. I wish I had a Hiroshima specialty oyster dish. I was satisfied with the breakfast with many rice, but I got tired of it because there was tempura for both dinner and breakfast. I think I was satisfied if I ate dinner with Miyajima souvenirs and stayed only for breakfast. Although it is a reservation system, it was a hotel that was working hard to pick up and drop off to Miyajima by a boat like a houseboat and free drink.

This is a traditionnal japonese hotel (ryokan). We have never been to a traditionnal japonese hotel so it is tough to compare. All I can say is that our stay was very disappointing, First, there was some confusion regarding the reservation. Not clear if the issue was on my side or theirs. I had booked (or tought I had booked) room with view on the shrine and a private bath (onsen) in the room. At reception, we tried to find a solution but could not find any. So, we had no view. For the bath, there was a public one downstairs or a private one (outside) that you could reserve free of charge for 30 minutes. That 30 minutes was the highlight of our stay. We really liked it. The worst part was the room itself. I tought that we had one sitting area and one sleeping area. It turns out it is the same but converted at night. I knew that we would be sleeping on the floor but i had assumed that there would be some type of cushion. We had a very thin cushion and franckly, it felt the same as sleeping directly on the floor. Both my husband and I had very hard time sleeping and had backaches in the morning. The bathroom seem to date back 1960. The air conditioning unit was very noisy and had to be turned down. We had problems finding electrical outlets to charge our cell phones. The slippers provided to go to the bath were too small for us and quite uncomfortable. The bathrobes were ok. We had breakfast included. We chose western style. 3 possible times: 7;30, 8;00 or 8:30. it was ok. 1 egg, fruits, yogourt, toasts, apple or orange juice. One strange thing, we had a salad. I have never seen a salad at breakfast. Check out is 10:00 so, very early. Cleaning of close by rooms prevented us from sleeping in the morning, Note that the hotel is quite far from the ferry terminal and uphill. We had chosen to walk to get there. There is possibility to use a shuttle bus. We took it for return. So, not clear if my expectations were too hight or if this hotel is substandard for a Ryokan but all aI know is that our stay was very disappointing for us. We had 2 other stays planned at Ryokan elsewhere is Japan and we cancelled them. For dinner, please note that the majority of restaurants are not open for dinner as most tourists have left. Tourist information office was able to suggest some open restaurants at night.

I arrived late on my arrival day and the staff told me they are closing the door 24.00 pm. It was quite a walk from the ferry terminal to the hotel (i guess about 20 min. walk with my luggage). Later i found out they have a free shuttle service -.- . Anyway staff at the reception and in the dining room were very nice and the room was ok. Everything clean as expected and a small Miyajima souvenir are waiting to be eaten^^. The bath area was small and good, as was the air in general on that island. After chek in you get a yukata and the key to your room. One thing i felt sorry about; Staff worked until 24.00pm, just to start working again at 5 a.m. .Thats not ok. As a result, an email i send earlier about changing my room was overseen. I am not mad about it, since i arrived late anyway. But for gods sake,let the staff at least get some rest between the shifts lol.

I went to Miyajima on a family trip and used it for the first time. For example, in our case this time, when we told our family in advance that there are people with bad legs, they can install a bed in a Japanese-style room, and change the basic dishes provided to each person's taste. Even if I was lost, I was able to make a flexible response and suggestion immediately, so I was able to spend a very comfortable time. The hot spring is in the basement, and it has an old-fashioned atmosphere with only a large bathtub １, and it is not so large, and the scenery is not good because it is in the basement. Compared to the hot spring resorts devised at this time, it may feel unsatisfactory, but it is clean and the temperature is around ４０ degrees, so it is ”good old” while taking a long bath. I felt that it was a place to enjoy. It was stated that the quality of the hot water was slightly salty and smooth, and it was pumped and boiled from the source. I was able to take a comfortable bath without being squeezed or dry even by families with weak skin. Unfortunately, there are no open-air baths or private baths, but some rooms have open-air baths with rooms, so I think you can choose according to your taste. What should be noted here is the wonderfulness of the food. The amount of meals varies or is insufficient depending on the course and price, which is often a big preparation at such a large inn, and the impression and quality of appearance are greatly different from the images on the site. Instead of having a sense of failure such as the dishes that were cold at the time of serving inn dishes, we were able to provide a wonderful dish of a more impressive level. This time we were in the room, and it was originally said that Masazen was the basic set, but ４ kind of seasonal course dishes (Masazen, delicious fish, delicious meat, delicious feast) with guidance on the site. I requested it at the stage of advance reservation and received everything with my family. There is no loss at all in every course, and the abundant ingredients unique to the land are carefully prepared, and all of them are very delicious, and the individual dishes requested by the order are prepared quickly. At the end, he made rice balls for dinner, which were full and could not be eaten, and he was able to provide a supreme time beyond the best. In addition, the breakfast at the dining hall I received the next morning was surprisingly luxurious with a large number of items, but the amount was gradually appropriate and very satisfying.
