We are grateful for the amazingly low-cost plan posted on their website, limited to three groups per day. Our biggest complaint is the lack of a cold water pot and paper towels in the bathroom, but other than that, the spacious Genroku building guest room with a large TV was comfortable. The large communal bath (especially the washing area) is old, but the hot and lukewarm hot spring water is as expected. Considering the price, the food in the restaurant was also more than satisfactory for our senior couple. In addition to the modernized lobby lounge decorated with various interesting books, there are many other attractions besides the hot springs, such as paintings by disabled people in front of the large communal bath and an exhibition related to the earthquake and nuclear accident, and you can really feel the strength of this long-established inn.
