I saw the review and understood guests had troubled to check in. I encountered the same problem. I did not receive any check-in code a day prior check-in. Luckily, I got the help from a Japanese to call Rakuten and then got the check-in details. Communication needs to improve for sure. Other than that, we had a happy stay.

If u have a car it is nice place to stay. Face to a ocean and ouster restaurante is locate near the hotel. Enough for 6people stay like ur house. We will back the hotel with friends nex time.

There was supposed to be a wine opener in the room, but it wasn't in our room, so we were having trouble opening the wine.
