A bit outdated and rooms need to be modernized. They have some new rooms, but apparently impossible for families to stay there. And it is very overpriced. Food is excellent though and staff is friendly.

The onsen inn is about 15 minutes walk from the JR train station. About 4 to 6 rooms in each building. Set in a pretty wooded area connected by paths and steps. Not so suitable for wheelchair. About 6 private hot spring bath huts that can fit 2 to 4 persons each. Good dinner and breakfast.

It was fantastic to go out to "no where" and relax after a busy stay in Tokyo. The train ride is quite long but the hotel is a short walk from the train station. All the different pools were fantastic and the rooms were really nice. Sleeping on the floor adds to the genuine experience but I prefer a softer bed. We got dinner and breakfast included. They were well prepared but a bit too interesting for the teenagers.

I didn't book a hotel with a beautiful sea view during this trip to Izu. I chose Hanafubuki, a hot spring hotel with an excellent location in Izu Kogen. Izu Kogen Station is very close to the attractions. You can get there within 20 minutes by taxi. There are also several highly ranked restaurants. The hotel's location is very advantageous. It is a 10-minute walk to the train station. Environment: The hotel is very private. Each room basically does not disturb each other. The sound insulation is also very good during holidays. The scenery of the Japanese-style room is also very good. All hot springs are private baths, both indoors and outdoors. Service: The service is good. There are Indian waiters. The phone can speak English. The official website has an email address. You can contact the hotel by email. Hygiene: The hygienic environment is also good. The room is very clean, but because it is in the forest, there will be spiders, but they are harmless. The private bath is cleaned from 11 am to 2 pm every day. It is recommended to soak in the morning and evening. Facilities: The facilities inside the room are a little old. The TV is very old and there are not many channels. The toothbrush is very small and not very good for brushing teeth. The water flow in the room is also very small. It is recommended that other washing and brushing should be done in the shower inside the private bath. The toiletries in the private bath are average. I personally recommend bringing your own. I didn't bring a hair mask on the first day and used the hotel's conditioner. Not only could I not squeeze it out, it was also difficult to use. The hotel's meals include breakfast and dinner. Dinner is kaiseki cuisine based on the ingredients purchased on the day. My dinner on the first day was a bit average. The dinner on the second day was delicious. I can only say that it is not fixed. There are 3 breakfast sets. You can choose Western or Japanese breakfast. Both are good. The portion of each meal is large. You will definitely be full. There are supermarkets and izakayas near the hotel. There are also many restaurants in Izu Kogen Station. Overall, this hotel is very good. Recommended

It is a pure Japanese-style hotel with an old-fashioned atmosphere hidden in the Tomodo Mountains. The hotel has few rooms, three independent rooms and a multi-room villa. It has seven open-air hot springs distributed on the mountain, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountain while soaking in the hot springs. The boss is a lady who can speak English. We arrived at Tomodo Station and contacted her, and she sent a car to the station to pick us up. The next day we were going to another hotel, and the boss also specially arranged a driver to take us there, which was very enthusiastic. The quality of breakfast and dinner was good, and the golden eye snapper and wanna fish were particularly delicious! There is a large balcony in the room, where you can enjoy the big trees and sunrise. It is a very good hotel!

Japanese lifestyle experience achieved! The staff are very enthusiastic, the exquisite and delicious meals and hot spring experience are unforgettable; the hotel is very close to the main scenic spots, if you can call a taxi smoothly, it will greatly improve the convenience of transportation
