Hanafubuki

We really enjoyed this ryokan. Cozy rooms in Japanese style, delicious gourmet food, excellent service. From the window there is a view of the garden or forest where the birds are singing. Lots of private onsens.

The hotel is newer than expected. Although it has a certain age, it is well maintained, clean and tidy. The front desk attendant kneeled down to register various information, and was polite and generous. The room is spacious. There are 7 private hot springs in the hotel. After entering, you can lock the door and enjoy it alone. There are about 20 rooms in the hotel, so there is basically no need to wait for a bath. There are relatively few shops near the hotel, so be sure to book a stay and two meals. The breakfast and evening kaiseki meals are delicious!

A very pleasant experience staying in a Japanese hotel. The hotel is less than one kilometer away from Izu-Kogen Station, but it is still inconvenient to walk with your suitcase. It is recommended to take a taxi outside the train station. The starting price is 680 yen. The room has Japanese-style tatami mats, and service staff will enter the room to lay the tatami mats during dinner. There is a forest on both sides of the room, and the heating is very good at night. It is very comfortable to drink tea while listening to the whistling wind outside. There are 7 private hot springs in the hotel. We soaked in 4 of them and were very satisfied. In terms of cost performance, it is already very high. The price of nearly 3,000 yuan is not cheap, but it is kaiseki cuisine, 7 private soups, and meticulous service. It is much more cost-effective than domestic hotels. In the morning, you can walk to the seaside cliffs and suspension bridge near the hotel. The scenery is great.

The disadvantage of the hotel is that there are no convenience stores around. You can hardly buy anything especially at night, so bring the necessary necessities. Secondly, the signal of all wifi is very weak.
