Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi

During our stay at the hotel, we went to the kids club. On the first day, my two-year-old was frightened by a local Maldivian staff member while being taken care of. On the second day, he refused to go there anymore. My two sisters told me that they were not allowed to play public games, I have talked to the manager and they said that they wanted the children to come according to the schedule, but the schedule that day was to go to the garden, but they didn't take the children to the garden for a long time, and the children stayed from 10 am to 2 pm. Is it so difficult to manage something that children really want to do? One Indian and one Russian. I am very dissatisfied with them, they have no patience and don't know how to guide children. For example, when you see a two-year-old trying to enter a room that they are not allowed to enter, what do you do? Do they just shout: "You can't go in!" Or do they squat down and say to the child: "How about we go there to play with cars and tell you some stories?" Our children are smart and we never treat them in a disrespectful way. I think the hotel is not serious enough in hiring the staff for the kids club. This made me very dissatisfied during my stay. Because of these staff, I will not choose Waldorf Astoria and will not recommend it to my family and friends. We didn’t choose that place to experience such unpleasant things!
