A great place to live an experience the will be just as great. A super welcoming garden with hosts who will take great care of you. The meals are great and you can get ready to face the formidable Collins in table tennis, who will test your forehand and backhand always with a smile. I recommend the Swiss Side to everyone.

A unique experience in a unique location, both for my wife (non-runner) and myself (a runner). All our needs were catered for and activities well organized. Rooms are spacious and have all the necessities. You are in the heart of the town of champion runners with immediate access to trails and tracks where you can train at altitude and watch the champions train. A unique experience! Also plenty of activities for non runners, such as beautiful hiking, visiting of tea fields and production facilities, and visiting local foundations to help children in need. Very safe environment, locals very friendly and helpful, esp. if you learn a few words of Swahili.

I got to stay at The Swiss Side Iten for a couple of nights and it was the most peaceful stay with amazing ambiance. I also got to experience the Sauna which I would recommend especially after a long walk, a run, a hike etc you get to relax really well after using it and the sleep at night is incredible

It helped me a lot with recovery and also relieve pain. The first two minutes are tough but after that it becomes okay. I had a (tendon) injury but just a few days later after using ice bath I was okay. From that time I regularly use it till today and its impact is positive.

Cryotherapy was an amazing experience and i got to also enjoy Sauna. I had a small injury on my left leg but with my first session the pain reduced significantly, with the use sauna i got experienced rapid recovery. The Swiss Side Iten is the only place with an Ice bath in Iten and i would highly recommend.

Second stay in this guesthouse and still so perfect. You have everything à runner would dream of for your recovery : nice bedrooms, lovely garden, basic gym equipment, nice meals, massage, cryo, sauna and teammates for uno or training. The team is here to help you anytime. Thank’s a lot !

C’était mon 3ème séjour à iten et première fois au Swiss Side, après avoir testé d’autres endroits c’était de loin le meilleur, très bonne localisation proche de toutes commodités, studio spacieux avec cuisine et salle de bain privée, femme de ménage à disposition pour le linge et nettoyage de la ch. si besoin, cuisto à l’écoute et repas variés, jardin avec hamacs pour se reposer et espace détente avec sauna, cryo et masseur à disposition. Vraiment rien a dire, j’y retourne très prochainement !
