Beautiful, clean and friendly - Love this place and will return. The staff and grounds are awesome. The rooms are clean and the amenities are exceptional! The food was good (not great) but the restaurant areas were very clean and staffed woth friendly people.

the room was very good as well as the air condicioned, the cleaning, also the breakfast, the food and my special thanks to the patissier he makes delicious desserts, i wib two kilos because of that... I also want to thank all the staff for their kind attention and excellent simpatie.

The lift and the corridor are ugly and old. The frigobar has ferrugem, the furniture is leaving, the toilet paper porter, poorly finished facilities savoner bathroom pia, bathroom pia = dentist cuba of so small, puddled and sleeved beds, incardated bath clothes, single and super narrow single beds and low looks like children, bad beds, full-shaped bed mirror, infiltration into the entrance wall, behind the door; roughly rough; lack of waste in the kitchen. I am very disappointed with what I found, disconsistent and harmed because I paid for a misleading hosting. I heard you have flats in better conditions, but you are busy (!). And the customer pays for that? I am very unhappy, rebelled. I would like to be compensated for what I paid to get out of here and go to better accommodation. Flat 1408. This hotel can be considered well located if you are traveling by car or if you have no problem taking a taxi, uber or similar, all of this because, although the neighborhood is good, it does not offer any of the attractions of Salvador by foot. Aware of that, you can come, but pay attention, don't expect too much, the accommodation is good but old, the lobby is large but dark, the breakfast is relatively full of food but always crowded and in order to get one ”tapioca” or an omelette this will require some of your patience in the row. I tried to go to the gym but even during the pandemic it was full of people, maybe because of the location next to the pool or even because of the usual number of guests at the end of the year. Even so, we were well taken care of during the period we stayed at the Bahia hotel and I would return without any major problems.

My family and I stayed at the Wish with interconnecting rooms in August 2022. This worked really well for us. Lobby area is large and airy with lovely decor. Pool area looked really nice but was not warm enough for us to use. The gym was modern with plenty of choice in equipment. Had some lovely evenings at the bar drinking cocktails made by Mauro. We were allocated rooms on level 11 so we had the perfect view over the city. Just wish the windows had been cleaned. Our view was a little cloudy! On one occasion we had music outside the park for us to listen to! Plus we watched some lads playing soccer. Room sizes were good. Beds were supercosy with good selection of pillows. The decor was a little tired and could do with freshening up. There was a musty damp scent in the room on arrival which we resolved by opening the window. This must be due to the climate where its warm and wet in Winter. Breakfast was lovely each morning with lots of choice. Just wish they had some plant based alternatives. E.g soya milk, margarine etc. Outside the Wish hotel is a park which a huge monument and fountain, if you wish to take a morning stroll/jog. There are council exercise machines next to the childrens playground. We were fortunate to see Capoeira training going on. Other than that there is nothing else. A short cab ride away will take you to Bahia shopping mall - Really good food court on ground floor here - Oriental, Italian and Brazilian. Plus a good place to do a money exchange. Cash is king here guys! The tourist spots like praca da sa, Pelourinho, Rio Vermelho etc are 1.5 miles away. Hotel taxis accept card payments. Which is really convenient. Be prepared to hold on to dear life when taking a random taxi from the street. Some drive like lunatics. Our taxi from airport to hotel was like this. Maybe its worth booking a hotel transfer with Wish. Overall if I could afford the Fasano I would stay there for the luxury plus location,but if you require something more easy on the pocket and away from the madness of the tourist areas, I would choose Wish de Bahia. We were for two nights at the weekend from 27 to 29/10/2023 at Mercure Salvador Boulevard. We were extremely well served by all team members! From parking, breakfast, reception, room service, cabinets and so on. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and has a very comfortable bed, very efficient internet and very comfortable swab. Super congratulations especially to Mr Ivan, General Manager for the great kindness, attention, professionalism and conduct with mastery of this beautiful business.
