No air conditioning OR fan! Went to bed to the sound of very LOUD, live disco music from the pool area. I complained repeatedly but ended up having to use ear plugs, hold the pillow over my ear, and eventually take a sleeping pill. In the morning, unbelievably, I woke to loud construction noise as they were erecting scaffolding for renovations right across the hall from my bedroom door. Then they let it be known that they had fumigation of the entire hotel (including the beds) at 10AM. I made sure to get out of there before that.

The staff are very welcoming, professional and friendly. The environment is conducive for all types of visitors. If you want to do your work without any distractions, Golf Hotel will provide you with the space. If you want a place to relax and enjoy music without disturbing others, you will get it here. And ofcourse, all types of drinks and food to keep you going. The receptionist Nereah does a good work. She gives GH the required image. Ofcourse I must also congratulate the new Director. She has changed the image of Golf Hotel within a very short time. We wish they had brought you here long time ago! Keep it up!

Great experience at the hotel,the rooms are very clean,good outside and good location.Very hospitable staff.Good meals.The hotel is also iconic,well maintained with good roads leading to it.I highly recommend it if you are looking for a cool place to relax

The Golf Hotel is a wonderful establishment and a must stay for anyone traveling through Kakamega! I stay there when I’m in town. The rooms are nice and spacious, the food is good, there’s an inviting pool, and the service is great! I’m not a golfer, so I can’t describe this aspect of the property, but I imagine that it is equally pleasing. I assure you you won’t be disappointed.

Golf has really changed....the service is out of Kenya I must say.in like 3years from now Golf will be among the best in Kenya.. The food is very delicious,I was served by Patrick,he was very friendly..Nereah was very welcoming so loving and very professional though I saw her only once...she has a hospitable energy....we had a good experience of our two day seminar at Golf.i recommend guests from all over the world to choose Golf.

A gem in a quite and serene part of Kakamega town. Great service. Amazing reception. Very courteous people. Pamela was exceptionally helpful throughout my stay. All utilities worked perfect, the shower was running, the food was great and I will definitely be coming back.

It was my first time to come to the Golf hotel kakamega...at first i was sceptible about the place but trust me i got proven wrong... I received a very warm welcome at the reception..Nereah welcomed us with a smile, Richard helped us to carry our luggages...the customer service is wow!! The rooms are very clean,the food is so satisfying the waiters are swift and upto task! I want to specifically thank Nereah for the wonderful customer service.she is full of life!!!..i also thank the whole team for their wonderful hospitality...the hotel seems to have an organised management.will definitely spread the word to my friends and come back

The stay was great most the room attendant isundu was timely and considerate, also the meals was nice, in additional the conference and meeting rooms were managed accordingly, other amenities and access are withing walking distance from the Hotel.
