The Marriot Hotel in Istambul, is a very good option to stay in Istambul, very well and professional front desk, the room is plenty of space, not just the bedroom, there are at least five closets in order to organize the cloths, shoes, etc., with table and iron to retouch shirt, the bathroom has very well differentiated space uses, the toilet is separate from the shower and the bathtub, in the middle a sink with several amenities, of course the bathrobe of Marriot. In the room they have a couch with two armchairs, and a big TV in the middle, the bed is a king-size, excellent and pillows of different softness, beside a chiffonier with coffee machine and boiling water, the only disadvantage is there are not a desk in order to work in the room…, the table in the sofa is to low to work comfortable, beside a couch is not a chair. The breakfast is excellent, many options for locals and foreigners, the waiters are very awareness of the request of tables. Maybe the only bad thing is that the pen beside the phone is usesless I tried to write when I am in a call and never working...

There are too many five-star hotels in Istanbul, which are just five-star guest houses at best. Marriott continues to uphold the quality of the world's largest hotel group and is very satisfied. It's only two minutes away from where I work :)

I am a Marriott Titanium member so i have spent a few nights away! Any hotel experience to a large degree is determined by the quality of its staff. Everyone at the hotel were excellent from the first moment of walking into the hotel to the day we left to return home. This started from the security staff on the entrance and Serpil on reception who checked us in. The restaurant staff were all great, Furkan who would greet us daily to breakfast with a smile and Atakan who made us our eggs each morning, I could name many more in the restaurant. Murat in the Exec lounge ensured we were comfortable and well looked after and he was ably supported by Bucra and the rest of the team. The cleaners every day who made up our room always had time to smile and chat despite some of them not being too fluent at English! Hamida and Hatice were great, again I could mention all the others. The facilities of the hotel are what you would expect for a 5* Marriott. The location is good too but if you are wanting to regularly visit the Hagia Sophia area then I would suggest picking the times you travel sensibly to avoid the early and late rush hour. We have visited Istanbul several times and stayed at other hotels. We look forward to returning soon and we will be staying here next time too!
