Hotels Near Kilise in Istanbul

We had taken advantage of Turkish Airlines offer to put us up for 2 nights (breakfast nincluded) so we could become initiated with Istanbul. We were treated regally. Vulkan (front door manager) took care of lining up cabs for us and assured we felt welcome each day and night. **He assured us that all Ubers and Taxis took credit cards - - they do NOT**. This is not Vulkan's fault. The taxis play games. On the way in from the airport to the Renaissance, we were quoted one price, then ended up with another. Perhaps agree on a price, and pay it up front. Aside from the transportation, Ahmet is sensational at the hotel. He is not the concierge, but should have been. Great attention to assuring guests are taken care of and happy. The hotel is wonderful. The location is NOT. From the map, it looks close to the airport --------NOPE! This airport was converted into an Air Force exercise base. It takes about an hour to get to IST, and 25 minutes to get to downtown Istanbul if there's minimal traffic. If you're coming here for business - at this hotel, it's beautiful. The views are great and the pool, etc. The tours which are arranged by Ahmet of the mosques, etc., are well worth the time and money.

We were staying on the 5th floor a non smoking room/level and people smoke all the time, we complained several times the best they can offer is move you to another room Rooms and corridors smell bad from sewage, we complained, they came and sprayed something to lessen the bad smell, but it didn’t work well. Lighting system inside the room need an update for sure. The staff is pleasant and helpful but the hotel is old and renovation. We have got a very good deal almost 50% off The concierge person is very helpful, he tried to offer a good rate.

I stayed with my family, everything was a new hotel, no lift, but 1.katta did not pose a problem for us, ***meat place is very beautiful. High stars deserve.

The welcome in my hotel was very laughing and beautiful. On Google Maps only, the location of the hotel is not up-to-date, it makes it difficult to find a place that can be found very easily ... The room is very modern and comfortable. I had to study because I had to get the training I needed for my job and it was very easy to find the table in the room to the table lamp. The things were very comfortable and modern because it was a new hotel. The small needs (both cotton, earwash) in every hotel are not in the room, it was stated when it was requested but I didn't need it because I brought it myself but I expected it to be a little more generous about it: ) I didn't find the breakfast very different, especially if you stay long, you can get tired after a while, but staff are laughing and respectful ... Perfect location in the old town of Sultanahmet. To the main attractions Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace you walk in 10/15 minute. Down to the seaside with a park and a walkway along the shore in 7 minutes. This small hotel is in a narrow sidestreet with little traffic. Rooms are a bit small buit nicely furnished and they are clean. Some with balcony facing the sea or terrace. Double glas windows to prevent the noise of the main steet below the hotel which is on the hillside. Good breakfast with a great variety and excellent view on the roof top. Keep in mind that this is the main tourist area of Istanbul where everything is expensive. There are many Restaurants in this place but you hardly find a breakfast for less than 10 Dollars. So all in all the Seatanbul is very good value for money. Mr. Kayhan at the reception speaks perfct english and is a very friendly and helpfull man. I highly can recommend this place.

Perfect stay in central of istanbul. Walking distance to Taksim and Galata Tower. Sishane metro and Tophane tram station are also nearby. Room was clean. The only thing we need maybe an electric kettle inside the room to make tea and coffee. And also more variety in the breakfast

To begin with, now this hotel is called DNZ TAXIM FERİDİYE HoTEL. I booked a stay for three nights through booking in a deluxe room. Upon arrival, we were given a different room that did not match the description and photo when booking. It was larger and similar in size to the one in the photo, but it did not match in appearance. We were told that there were no other rooms available. In the end, I had to stay in this room. Then we began to examine it in more detail and were in a slight shock. The point was the condition of the room itself: the door trims were broken off, the walls were all chipped to the ground, the sink was loose, the shower hose was frayed, the faucet that was kept on parole. The faucet and fan just stuck out of the wall, everything above the doorway in the bathroom was smeared with cement without any kind of decoration (everything is in the photo). Towels are dirty, with lipstick residue and holes. Bed linen was also in question. The price included breakfast, which again turned out to be not the same as in the photo on bo***********A photo of breakfast is also attached to the review. The main thing there is half a loaf. Arabs work at the front desk, who know a couple of words in English, that is, it is extremely difficult to communicate with them. And finally, the cherry on the cake. We decided that we could not stand here for three nights and leave after two nights. As a result, the administrators canceled our reservation when we checked out, and sent information to booking that we supposedly did not check in. In general, they simply deceive people! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Traveling to Istanbul is exciting experience and most of the time you should go out of the hotel and walk around so booking the luxurious hotel isn’t good idea. It’s better to cost for visiting this amazing city. You have to consider instead of your payment. At first glance, the location of this hotel may seem a bit disappointing, but I assure you that this hotel is in a great location and is safe, as well as at night, when sleeping, it is quieter than many neighborhoods. . Make sure you get the right service for the price you pay. The only drawback is perhaps the small size of some of the rooms of this hotel, which, considering that the purpose of the trip to this city is sightseeing and you only go to the hotel for bathing and sleeping, all your needs will be met.
