Hotels in Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Istanbul

The room isn't spacious, but it's elegantly furnished and very cozy. There's a great view from the window. The terrace restaurant offers incredible views: a stunning sea view on one side, and the Blue Mosque visible from the back. Located within the old city walls, the location is excellent, providing convenient transportation. Both the T6 metro and BN1 bus lines are easily accessible.

Extremely friends staff that give off the vibe that they are there to accommodate your every need. Fantastic location since all major spots inside city are within walking distance. However, room didn't provide any toothpaste in the toilets and drinking water in the room which was a negative for me. (Note that these are not issues for a lot of people and weren't too big of an issue for me either) Overall, I would definitely recommend

We booked 3 hotels through Trip for this trip. 2 of them sent messages to remind guests on the day of check-in, which was very considerate. However, this hotel did not respond at all. We checked in late that day, and the hotel never tried to care whether the guests encountered any difficulties. The location of the hotel is indeed good, very close to Hagia Sophia, but the room is very narrow and can barely fit two single beds. Fortunately, there are many drawers for storing items. The most pitiful thing is that there is no quilt, so I can only use a quilt bag as a quilt, even though there is felt in the wardrobe. But isn’t a quilt the most basic thing? The only thing to praise is that the breakfast is good, and the front desk customer service during the day took the initiative to help us carry our luggage and walk a few dozen meters to the pick-up point when we left the hotel.

A great hotel in a excellent location easy walk to blue mosque,grand bazar, hagia Sofia and topkapi palace. Rooms were clean and tidy and staff were very friendly. It has a 6th floor restaurant with amazing views of Istanbul and its attractions The only negative was the room I stayed in had an issue with the thermostat making the room very hot however leaving the window open made it bearable to be fair the hotel did offer another room the next day.

I was captivated by, and admire the pristine condition of the hotel. The hotel reflects an ottoman period type style and is shown by its longstanding historical roots in Istanbul. Everyone is greeted with tea and Turkish delight upon checking in. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The rooftop lounge serves breakfast in the morning and has the most amazing views of the Blue Mosque and ocean side. Conveniently located near main attractions, walking is a must if you plan to enjoy the scenery and vibrant life in Istanbul. Highly would recommend staying here!

After spending two weeks traveling around Turkey, I returned to Istanbul and chose this guesthouse once more. My previous stay two weeks ago was excellent, which is why I booked it again, this time for almost a week. Unfortunately, I couldn't get one of the upstairs sea view rooms this time, so I had to settle for a standard triple room. To my surprise, this room was on the ground floor, right by the staircase behind the reception desk. While some noise from late check-ins is unavoidable, on two separate nights, well past midnight, other guests returned and were loudly chatting and laughing at the reception area. One woman even stood right outside my door talking loudly on her phone. I can appreciate that many guests might not realize there are rooms directly behind the reception, but it's the front desk's responsibility to remind them to keep the noise down! I had to come out twice to ask the guests to be quieter as they were disturbing my sleep. Each time, the front desk staff was simply sitting there with headphones on, looking at their computer, completely indifferent to the situation. It was incredibly frustrating. While the guests' behavior was indeed inconsiderate, the guesthouse definitely has a responsibility to politely intervene and remind them. On the positive side, other services remained excellent. The rooms were cleaned daily and were very spotless. The staff were friendly and hospitable. The guesthouse is also very close to the Sea of Marmara, and that stretch of coastline is quite beautiful. Overall, it's still a decent guesthouse, and I truly hope they can make some significant improvements in this area.

this is a nice hotel slightly needs more dusting done in the rooms. Close to places staff talks nicely nice view of hagia sofia from room. The cleaning lady was absolutely fantastic she was so nice and had smile on her face all times.

A very satisfying stay. The hotel is in a great location, right next to the Blue Mosque. The restaurant is on the balcony, which offers a great photo opportunity. You can even feed the seagulls for a photo opportunity, which is very photogenic. The room was clean, and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, including helping us book a taxi to the airport at a reasonable price. A huge thank you to Jiozan Murat and Kadic for their attentive service.

First of all, the location of the hotel is really nice. The tram is just 5 minutes away, and the famous attractions are within walking distance at any time. The staff was so kind that I felt happy throughout the stay. On the first day of our arrival in Istanbul, we arrived at our accommodation so early that we had a lot of worries about how we should spend our time, but the hotel willingly allowed us to check-in early, which was such a huge gift for us, who were tired from the long flight. I really recommend this place to anyone traveling to Istanbul. Thank you very much for your care and assistance throughout our stay.
