2-Star Hotels in Istanbul

I have been here at the hostel for a week. The service is very nice and they help where they can. I had a room change without problems and these are clean and relatively quietly located to a side street. The bakery faces one in the morning with the smell of fresh bread ;) However, no loud supply. Breakfast is nice, marmelade, honey, some vegetables and tea, water or coffee. It is worth mentioning that the staff members clean every day. Only in the bathroom is a hook to hang up and protect his stuff and cultural bags from wet :D

We stayed at this hotel three nights during our city break in Istanbul. The location is excellent, as the hotel is situated in the hard of the city, near to every touristic point. Great value for money, especially that the parking is across the street (and is this city you really need a safe parking place). Staff is polite and very friendly, rooms are clean but not very big but are ok if you are planning to spend to much time in it. Breakfast is satisfactory, reflected in the price – as I mentioned this is great value for money. I will consider to stay at this hotel again at my next stay in Istanbul Enjoy,

I want to store my luggage at the hotel because I want to change the city in the middle. I told the front desk well, I could put it in the basement. As soon as we moved the luggage out at three o'clock the next morning, we told us that our luggage could only be used. Placed against the door! We were caught by surprise! The front desk attitude is particularly tough and overbearing! It is said that there is someone at the front desk 24 hours, but it is not! Who can be assured ... there was a lot of time at that time, I was really angry and dare not! Excessive! !!

one of the most comfortable experiences I have ever had. Kind loving and caring people. Cost effective safe and secure hotel which is a bit away from the center but if you get used to public transport and love to explore this is the place to be. I have no complaints. Thier morning breakfast was amazing and the staff who served it were even better than that.

Stayed there this summer 2022. in August with friends. Stayed in a four people bedroom. We had a bathroom with toilet and shower in our room, with one bunk bed and one big bed for two persons. Our room was equipped with one wardrobe (which is not much space for four persons), one small LCD TV, free internet and air conditioning. We got 4 towels, some soups and bathroom have hairdryer in it. Hostel is great located near restaurants, shops, caffe bars and everything you need and its staff are polite Only flaw is that a cleaning lady could have come if not every day (for garbage - to little space for it - bottles etc.) than at least every second day, the room is a bit to small for four persons, it has to little space for suitcases and the view wasnt nice, but its a hostel for a good price so it all ok. Breakfast is ordinary (Egg, choco like nuttela, butter, jam, bread, tea, coffe) and only that is missing is some kind of juice or water. All in all would recommend.

One of my favourite places is antique hostel, I traveled to seventeen countries and I can say this hostel is on my top 5 hostels among Europe and asia, the stuff is so nice and helpful, the place so clean and comfortable and the breakfast is very good, in addition it has two floors terrace so, I would definitely book here again and I strongly recommend it

Very comfortable stay! The room was clean and had everything we needed. Unexpectedly, I was impressed by the kitchen. There was an electric kettle and we enjoyed coffee and tea. There was also a microwave, so it was easy to heat up a meal in the evening. The bedding was soft and comfortable. And most importantly, the showers were nice! The showers in this hotel are the warmest in Turkey. The owners are very caring and easy to contact if you need anything. The Grand Bazaar is close by and was a fun place to shop. There is also a supermarket nearby. I wish I could have stayed in this hotel more often. I would use this hotel again! Thank you very much.

In general, a good modest hotel, the room is clean, the furniture is new, good wi-fi in the room. There is a kettle in the room, which is always a plus for me, a warm floor in the bathroom. Of the minuses is the breakfast time from 8 to 10.

I stayed in this hotel a total of 9 nights (3 to 8/11 and 12/11 to 16/11/2023). This is a hotel that has never been refurbished since it was built. The only change is the tv flat screens in the rooms. We spent our first night in a room looking at the main boulevard and decided to leave it because it was terribly noisy because of the traffic. The hotel owner proposed to move us in a room he called the number ”7”. All five floors number seven rooms are the only rooms looking at the back courtyard with no noises coming but they are tiny rooms suitable as single rooms. On our second stay (12 to 16/11), the hotel gave us a room on the 5th floor. It was opening on another street, just facing the main police station. It was a good room and we liked it despite the very old unfashionable equipment: bed , sofa, shower and tub. Breakfast was on average side though in good quantities. It was the same with a Turkish breakfast style. The staff in this hotel was very helpful and always ready to answer any request. The hotel was in a very central location where all transport means were at very short distances (less than 5 minutes walking): metro, buses, marmaray line... Sultanahmet and Haggia Sophia are at three tram staops far from the hotel. So is the famous Taksim area, accessible by metro and at 10 minutes ride from the main metro station: Yenikapi metro and Marmaray station. I wish that the owners of the hotel invest some money to change all the furniture and equipments in the rooms. But if they do it, room prices will certainly go up. By the way, we could have a good tariff for the room. Last, free WIFI is available in all parts of the hotel and in he rooms.
