These people were horrible, I tried driving to the property it was a night mare going through narrow roads that can barely fit a car down.. it took me 3 hours to drive down a few roads it was in the centre of Istanbul, it was very noisy there were thousand of cars . It took 3 hours to go one mile. When I arrived at the property it was gridlocked outside thousands of people walking up and down past the front door of property. Absolutely nowhere to park for 5 miles. You would have had to park outside Istanbul and then get a taxi to the property. The area and the building were ghetto. It was a disgusting place full of gangs outside… we didn’t even enter the building in the end… DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY IT WILL RUIN YOUR ENTIRE HOLIDAY CAUSING YOU SEVERE STRESS.. we slept in our vehicle in the end just outside Istanbul.. we asked for a refund due to all these reasons and he refused, trip.com also wouldn’t give our money back, they leave it to the owner that is no mediation whatsoever. BE CAREFUL!!!

What kind of broken room? How dare you call it a deluxe room. This landlord is crazy. Outside the window is a garbage dump. There were snails and snail droppings in the room. The doors were blackened and full of mold. The shower heads in the bathroom were broken. There is no hot water at the sink, which is fine in summer, but what does it feel like to wash it with cold water in winter? There is no handle on the door to the room, so you have to knock it with your hands to close it. I told the front desk, and he said he knew and wouldn't solve it anyway. What a funny service. The room was poorly ventilated. The soundproofing is not good, even walking upstairs will tell you. Everyone knows what the neighbors say. There is no one at the front desk, and I don't know who to call if I need anything. The room is in the basement. Someone knocked hard on the door of the apartment late at night, making it very noisy. The door on the first floor is an iron door. When it is closed, it makes a loud sound, which often wakes people up while sleeping. The location is not good, it is downhill, and it is very troublesome to carry the suitcases up. This 1 point is for the sake of air conditioning. The room has air conditioning.

This hotel is the worst thing that could happen in Istanbul, and, in general, while traveling. The rooms do not match the photo. I had booked a “superior suite”, but in fact it turned out to be an old, shabby, cold, stale room. There is no heating in the rooms, I made this comment several times. They turned on my air conditioner, which barely worked and burned more air than heated. The bathroom is like a cave - the walls are icy, the floor is like stone, everything barely holds together, mold is everywhere. It's kind of creepy. The website says that there is sound insulation (for me this is important), but in fact there is a huge gap under the front door and some foam rubber has been glued on! Are you seriously????? I refused to stay there and asked for a refund, which, naturally, was refused. No one even met me in person, they just corresponded. The guy at the reception passed it on to the manager, the manager started writing to me “Svetlana, you are a bad person!” when I sent him photos of the room and asked for a refund for the 2 paid days. Then he just blocked me!!! Honestly, I couldn’t even believe a little that this could happen. Usually people try to settle the situation, despite the fact that I started the conversation very loyally, but apparently they don’t care about their guests. It’s strange for me to read other people’s reviews that everything is ok.

Noise, everywhere, closing doors and windows doesn't reduce the noise one decibel. If the windows face the road (towards the entrance), then you are very unlucky, this trip will become torture. Mold, dampness, smell seemed trivial compared to the noise, but also not pleasant. Every inch of the floor creaks. Advantages - price, location, consider living on Istiklal, Taksim is nearby, Galata Tower.
