We are a senior couple with our adult daughter. We initially booked for only 2 nights because of the mixed reviews. We were so impressed with our clean modern apartment and with the staff we just renewed for a further 5 nights. We are in a third level 1 br street front apartment which is clean spacious and in excellent condition. The staff readily supply us with what we need. The windows are sound proof and we can hear no sound from outside. The position is a leisurely 5 minute walk to Istiklal Street and Taksim Square. A bus stop in front of the building to take you to the Old City. Maybe other apartments in the complex are different but we have nothing but praise for this modern apartment hotel complex.

I booked this hotel directly from someone called Hazal who works for Garlon Residence, at first the flats she gave us were in GR1 which is a building still under construction and not fully ready to live. The flat was too small for the, amount of money they ask for and also not safe toive in. There was very bad smell all over. As soon as I saw the flat I asked for a change because that was not what we agreed for. The communication with Hazal and yaseen is very bad and they do not offer a good solutions. We already paied a lot then they offer another flat with extra 900 dollars and they said its the only one available at the, GR building. We accepted it because it was safer than the other one. Once we took and paied for it we discovered that No Internet in upper room Overall Internet in the whole flat is very weak. bathroom door dies not close or lock bathroom shower drainage does not drain bathroom shower soap does not come out. room socket broken Mosquitos all over, we had a lot of bites, it took them 4 days to spray the place. They pretend they don't understand good English do that they give the people what they want. The painting of the flat is dirty and scratches all over. We paied 2800 dollars for panthouse and at the ends it's very small and it's like one bedroom with small living with a not safe stair that take you to another bedroom only. Nothing special The sofas are very dirty and old Very poor communication with most of the stuff especially Hazal and yaseen. The only good people were Dilara, Abdulrahman and marwan We are completely not satisfied and will never go to Garlon Residence again not worth the money we paied for only 9 days

On check in the staff took me to a smaller room with less beds than the one I picked and paid for. Eventually I was moved to the right room but the sofa bed wasn't made up even though I paid for 3 guests and had emailed in advance of our requirements. I was just handed 1 sheet, 1 pillow and 1 light blanket to make up myself on top of the sofa cushion. It wasn't an actual sofa that converted to a bed. The key cards didn't work for the first 2 days of my stay which was very inconvenient and I had to find a security guard who then rang the apartment staff who would let me in my room which took 10 minutes every time. On the third day I was given a working key card which was a relief. The room also smelled of smoke and had ash trays even though my booking stated it was a non smoking room. Had to pay a 6000lira deposit (which I was only made aware of after I paid on booking. Com) The sofas were stained and the cooking hob was very scratched so had to spend time taking photos on arrival so as not to lose the deposit. To be fair I was not questioned about anything on check out so I think it's a genuine deposit scheme and perhaps the apartments have been misused by guests in the past. The fancy mirror light in the pictures also didn't work. The housekeeping were brilliant, very attentive and kept my apartment clean and well stocked. They were very kind ladies. Excellent location and the staff are friendly and helpful despite the problems with key cards etc. Great to have a washing machine and dishwasher when travelling with kids.

From the minute I got to the Hotel was greeted by Abdurrahman Hotel’s Manager, fresh scent of gardenias was very welcoming in a spotless environment, the apartment was better than the pictures described, all the amenities and the comfort of a modern home, was very happy to know that we have a daily cleaning staff, thank you ladies for your great job.. will definitely recommend.. and be back soon…centric.. near to public transportation and safe..thank you all for a great 2 weeks stay

The residence is super central, the staff were incredibly helpful and very nice and the actual rooms are gorgeous. Furthermore, the views are brilliant from the penthouse. I would highly highly recommend. The staff even gave us an extra room because we wanted a later checkout to no cost.

The worst hotel in dealing with guests, especially the one called Abdul Rahman, a manipulative liar. I booked a studio in the new building and was accommodated in the old building. He promised me that he would change the room the next day. He started evading and refused to change the room. I stayed in a room for the entire period of time that was smaller than the one I reserved. When I confronted him, he told me this is what is there, and if I leave, you will not come back. You have your money, and unfortunately there is no management, reception or reception.. The owner is the liar Abdul Rahman. Advice, stay away from this hotel. There is a cheaper and better deal.
