Very nice hotel for Istanbul standards - clean, not noisy, very good service and friendly people working there. Positively surprised! Very delicious breakfast. Hotel is close to some of the biggest sightseeings in the city. Nice view from terrace! Just the hamam wasn`t working. Everything else very good!

The hotel is in a very good location, only about an 8-minute walk from the nearest attractions, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The room is small and generally quiet. There is sesame sauce for breakfast, which can be used to mix salads.

We were very satisfied. From reception Yusuf, Güven and at the restaurant Yasar, Fatma and Berkan were all great. I can recommend it to everyone...

Old hotel in need of serious updating. Noisy hotel, no interior and exterior soundproofing. SPA: Good; Breakfasts: good; service: very good - Beautiful terrace with sea view Located near attractions in the old town but difficult to locate Mixed opinion.

Very good staff and location. Cool terrace. I liked the breakfasts too. The interior style is a bit gypsy, but that can't be too much of a fault. I liked the mini elevator for visitors. Audibility between rooms is quite normal, so don't make any noise.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. 10 mins walk from Blue Mosque and in the opposite direction 10 mins from Kumkapi district and its abundance of restaurants. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well. Good sized room and clean - recommend the Marmara Suite. Excellent view over the Marmara Sea. Water, tea and coffee replenished daily. Air con worked well. Bed very comfy, had a good nights sleep. Pool was on the small side, but all I needed after a day playing tourist, along with steam room and sauna. Staff very friendly and efficient. Well organised hotel. On the day I was checking out my suitcase failed, hotel staff helped me try to fix it and after having quickly got a new suitcase make sure I was ready for the lift to the airport. Booked a day trip through the hotel, no issues. Breakfast was plentiful, ample choice. The usual continental options and some Türkiye specific (which changed daily). Some hot options that also changed. A lot of the booking sites advertised the hotel as having a bar and restaurant, it does not. However the hotel are OK with you bringing in Beer and takeaway food brought locally and consumed on the rooftop terrace or garden. They also have a room service arrangement with a local restaurant - didn't use this. The Terrace had excellent views over the Marmara Sea and up towards the Blue Mosque. Walked everywhere, there's a steep hill up to the Grand Bizaar and then down the other side towards the Spice Bizasre and the bridges across the Golden Horn. Manageable for us (late 50s and 60s). There's a less steep option going around the side to the square with the Blue Mosque and other attractions and then heading to the Bazaar. Would love to return to Istanbul and would probably use the same hotel.

A very warm welcome from Onur on reception, he helped us with booking a walking tour and a dinner cruise, all while we enjoyed a much needed complimentary coffee, he is very knowledgeable and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, every staff member went above and beyond. The traditional style decoration of the hotel enhanced our holiday. The room was lovely, and the beds were comfortable. Our room looked out over the park. The roof terrace has amazing views. We enjoyed the garden room, which was cooler and covered. Instanbul main attractions are within walking distance.

We arrived late at night with the hotel's aitport transfer which worked well. The room we got was worn down, but with a sea view which made up for it. The location is great whn travelling with kids: There is a park just in front of the hotel full of cats and the old city area is walking distance. The pool, spa and fitness facilities were not working during our stay, but we were allowed to use another hotel's facilities which worked okay. The view and location really makes this hotel.

Lovely hotel in a good position for sightseeing. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Wide variety of food for breakfast. Lovely roof terrace and a small indoor pool. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Only complaint was noise from outside on some nights.

A very good hotel with helpful staff. Stayed here 5 days. Booked a single room and two doubles. Rooms were clean and cleaned daily. Nice sized room, which Includes tea making facilities, desks and TV. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Staff helpful and courteous and spoke English. Lots of shops and eating places nearby and ten minute walk to blue mosque and other attractions. Best ask for a room on higher floors as first floor can be noisy from local children playing late and into early morning. It's bed and breakfast only as there is no restaurant on site. Breakfast has variety of breads, hot and cold food plus cereal options. It's a good breakfast

Nice small but cosy hotel in old city walking distance from all major historic sites (careful on the hills). Breakfast was amazing and made me feel like home. Staff were friendly and helpful and above all very polite and supportive. For someone who is autistic and suffers with anxiety and travels alone, it was a trip of a lifetime. Thank you so much.

We truly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Hotel beds are very comfortable and their staff are very helpful. The best aspect has to be breakfast buffet :) It's absolutely delicious. The tourist attractions are also nearby. We would walk to Hagia Sofia and Blue mosque.

The Antea Palace is a wonderful hotel to stay. Firstly the staff were so helpful, giving advice on places to go and optional trips that they will book for you at discounted prices, or just advising lovely places to go for a wander. The Blue Mosque and many historical sites are within easy reach although you have to go uphill first, or take the train around the coastline for 17 TL to avoid the hill! Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff. The hotel itself is very comfortable, the rooms are extremely clean, beds wonderfully comfortable, tea & coffee facilities, an air con unit, plenty of towels and crisp clean bedding. Breakfast is buffet style with lots of choice. The roof top terrace gives amazing views over the sea. The pool is small but if you’re not there for a 25m swim, it’s perfect. There’s a sauna and steam room although in June it was equally hot outside! We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.
