The biggest plus is the location of the hotel.
The rooms are not large, but in this area of Istanbul almost everywhere they are. The hotel is clean, but everything is very simple and old.

Double booked. Moved me to a downgraded single room at another hotel 150m away and made me switch hotels on the second day of my stay. Non-refundable and no compensation offered. Rude receptionist despite being polite to him. Do not recommend at all.

We arrived in the area using the Marmaray train. The hotel is relatively close to the station (train and tram). From there, we walked to the hotel reception. There, we were told that there were no more rooms available and gave us a room in another hotel (Istanbul Quietness Hotel), which is at a walking distance. Now here, the room was relatively clean, with some exceptions: - Hand towel in the bathroom (brown dot on it) - Some dots on the bed sheets also. - Bathroom ceiling dirty (from humidity since there is no ventilation / window there) The breakfast was not bad. Nothing special, some fresh vegetables, coffe (instant I believe from a machine), boiled eggs, butter and jelly, juice and other stuff like that. The place to eat was very tiny. The review was actually for Quietness Hotel, but since my booking was for Gulhane corner i'll leave it here. Since the owner is the same (from what I was told) the conditions may be similar. The reception told me that the one I stayed in is better.

Dodgy and run by unpleasant arrogant characters that are out to make money. Rooms are not the same as pictures. Hygiene is despicable poor urine stains , blood and hunan feces on bed sheets. Paid for two nights, stayed only for one due to poor hygiene and the owners refused to refund. After much complaining they offered to change a room but hygiene is so poor that it is a health risk to stay at this hotel. The desk attendant SALAHUDDIN says they cannot refund as per Bosses orders, and what is sinister strange they have full permission to accept all types of payments in advance including card and foreign currency. When showing the poor hygiene, they blamed on the cleaning lady. The cleaning lady stated she had no time to clean properly because of the fast turnaround time in advertising room as available. SALAHUDDIN then said they fired the cleaning lady. So hotel run by Bosses whose practices are unethical and treat staff poorly, and bad management that refuses to take responsibility and accountability putting blame on hard working staff. Forget about any refunds at this hotel. And more importantly consider hygiene before booking at this hotel.

Wonderful hotel. Excellent location, close to all attractions, beautiful Gulhane Park, sea, Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, German Fountain, Sultanahmet Square - everything is nearby. The room is very clean, daily cleaning. Hearty breakfasts, there were a lot of vegetables, watermelon, several types of cheese, olives, sausage and many many other goodies. You can drink tea, coffee, and juices around the clock on the terrace. I would like to thank the friendly and attentive Metanet and Malahat for their professionalism and kindness. I thank all the reception staff - Abdullah, Salahudin and Sadullah for their competence, attentiveness and willingness to help in everything. Thank you very much! The atmosphere at the hotel is friendly and comfortable. Without any problems, the small room was exchanged for a larger one. Everything is professional and comfortable: from organizing transfers to advice on where to go and what to see nearby. On our next visit to Istanbul, we will only stay here. I recommend it to everyone!

Cet hôtel fait partie de notre incroyable voyage à Istanbul, ainsi que le personnel qui est extrêmement attachant et dévoué. Ce petit hôtel possède une grande part d'authenticité et on peut vite se sentir comme en famille la bas. Merci à l'équipe d'avoir contribué à ce merveilleux voyage. Les chambres sont assez sobres mais on s'y sent parfaitement bien et il y a tout l'essentiel nécessaire. Je recommande chaleureusement cet hôtel, en vous souhaitant de passer par ce même partage rempli de bienveillance. La terrasse avec le café en roof top est très appréciable le matin et Madina est une excellente cuisinière. Wonderdul
