Regular inexpensive hotel

Super! To be honest, May Hotel was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. The hotel was included with the purchased tour, so I didn’t expect much from it. BUT! Very clean and not “tired” rooms: everything is neat, pleasant, all the plumbing is new, the bedding is clean, the walls are fresh, the mattress is good. The rooms have air conditioning, a refrigerator, a safe, and new white towels. Breakfast is simple but delicious: eggs, vegetables, sausages and cheeses, sausages, toast, cereal, delicious coffee. I won’t write anything about the location, just look for yourself. The sights and main beauties are just a stone's throw away. Let me just say that I didn’t really want to walk far in the evenings alone, but within a radius of 500m I found all the necessary shops (I had to buy tights at 10 pm, it was cold), and the streets were full of cafes with music and delicious food. The coolest thing is the employees! I am not very sociable and trusting, but the administrators Suleiman and Emir are really very good guys! They answered all the questions in detail, helped with currency exchange, told me which markets to go to and how to get there, where to have dinner and what to see (and how to do it with minimal expenses). Here at the reception you can buy excursions much cheaper and better than from many operators (I took some of the excursions while still in Russia, which I really regretted here - the price tag is higher, and the content is 2 times less). I now recommend this hotel to my friends. A very good place to stay in Istanbul if you don’t want to spend a lot on a hotel, spend your evenings and nights comfortably and know that you have someone to turn to. Ps Let me note for your understanding the high integrity of administrator Suleiman: due to circumstances beyond my control, it was not possible to go on a boat tour of the Bosphorus. I was very upset because I was really looking forward to it. Suleiman stepped into the situation and returned the money! I didn't even expect it. Then I still went on the excursion, and you go) You won’t regret it

We were greeted kindly, checked in immediately, Wi-Fi only works in the room. Upon check-in, at first glance, the bed linen was stale, there was hair, they asked to replace it - they promised to replace it the next morning. During the 6 days of stay, they never replaced it. The room was cleaned for show, there was dust everywhere. Breakfast is monotonous - eggs, olives, tomatoes/cucumbers, sausages are impossible to eat, cheeses more or less, juices are tasteless. Water is only available at breakfast; there is no water at the reception or in the room. The audibility in the room is terrible, it is impossible to sleep in the room. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel.
