The room is stuffy, need to spend a kil extra for airfreshner, nothing in the room not even a kattle, and soap dispenser was full but not working. The environment is dark, scary and sad. The only reason is good because if the location.

Dirty, old bed linen and towels, cleaning and change of towels upon request, faulty plumbing, repaired after 4 days of stay, water did not drain from the shower or sink, on the 4th floor the standard room is old, single-layer windows, audible from the street and from the corridor 100%, out of 7 nights - not a single quiet one. The entire staff speaks Russian, which is very convenient for solving everyday issues that might not exist. Breakfast is meager: 2 eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, 1 type of cheese, 1 type of sausage, olives, black olives, bread (all weathered, low quality), instant coffee - bad, I do not recommend visiting the hotel, for this price you can find better conditions.

It is not recommended to stay. The balcony view is as shown in the picture, which is average. The location is extremely inconvenient. Although it is very close to the Blue Mosque, the location is difficult to find, especially dragging luggage up and down the steep slope. The most important thing is that we live on the fifth floor and there is no elevator. There are no toiletries or water in the hotel. The price for this night is more than 700, which is really not cost-effective. This time I stepped on a trap and I will never go there again.

The location is okay. It's near the Blue Mosque. You can see the beautiful sea outside the window. However, the sunrise is blocked and you can't see it. The service is okay. The room is relatively small. I'm quite satisfied.

The hotel has a spectacular location, just be careful with entering the name of the hotel in Google Maps, it takes you 13km to enter the best address and there is no elevator.

It is a very neat hotel y a block full o other hoteles. This is the only Inés that has flowers ay the entrance. Recepcionists are there 24 h. They are very helpful. They speak English well enough to solve anything. They offer you water, coffee and tea at any time. The place is clean and the rooms have air conditioner. I would suggest them a boiler so that you can make your own coffee or tea in the room. Haggard Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, the Cisterna Basilica, etc are pretty close to reach in a short walk. Lost o places to eat around.

Checked in after midnight (shuttle the hotel arranged wasn't there upon my arrival). Got shown my room. First impressions were it's a lot smaller than expected, but photos can be misleading and I was too tired to check. Next day I remembered to check my booking confirmation and I was supposed to have been given a double room, but had been given a single. As I'd already gotten ready for bed, I raised the issue the following day with the manager, who insisted that no matter what I booked, I am one person, so I get a single room. I raised the issue with ********** who wanted to phone me to make alternative arrangements, but my plan didn't cover me for turkiye, so we arranged to take the call from reception. Four times different ********** reps tried to speak with me, each time the manager and another member of staff refused to pass their calls to me. The manager knew he was being deliberately obstructive and had the audacity to raise his voice at me and tell me to be kind(!) He had by that stage offered to put me in the room I had actually paid for, ever so kind of him, for the remainder of my trip, however, he initially wanted more money to do that. He also told me I didn't need to speak to **********, as he had already told them I was accepting the room, which I had not. This man clearly has no respect for women. He refused to refund me the difference between the cost of the rooms, despite the fact he eventually conceded he was at fault. Waste of a whole day.Avoid at all costs

Location perfect. Accomodation is dirty and furniture is utterly overused. Staff tried to do their best.

My friend, who had come from the US to attend a training that was organized in Istanbul was subjected to verbal and physical violence by the front desk staff because she asked for a receipt. I don't know what's wrong with these people, or the people who recruit them to ''provide services'' but the only service I witnessed was violence. I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here who has a child or care about their own emotional and psychological well-being for that matter, as we are still in shock after what had happened.

I don’t know where all these positive reviews coming from. This is not a “Hotel”, it barely passes as a Hostel or what some call a Motel. The rooms are nestled in an extremely outdated building that looks like it could give out any second and crumble. Only thing it got going for it is the location, in the heart of Sultanahmet district, only a few minutes walk to most historical attractions. Travelers beware, the whole district is a tourist trap, you will definitely be paying 5-10x the amount for anything you buy here, whether it’s food or gifts.

What a difference the hotel personnel makes; everybody at the Tulip House is soo nice, they are all over you bringing comfort and attention constantly. The rooms are clean, the place is cozy and warm, and even the guests are of the same kind; everybody very nice. From the manager to the rest of the employees, to the housekeeping services, all make a great and warm team that makes your stay a great experience, kind of home feeling, away from home. Loved the Tulip House and will come back!
