Great hotel and near hagia sofia

wifi is very bad. service is also poor

Sur hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel. Myself and my wife stayed for a few nights. Location is great in the middle of all the main attractions. İbrahim was very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend the hotel. Blue mosque Aya Sofya. Topkapı palace. Eminönü beautiful places. Hotel only has 9 rooms. Nice and quiet. The hotel has been recently renovated. We would definitely stay there again in the future. Well done İbrahim and Suna great hospitality

A nice hotel, near the hagia Sophia and blue mosque. It's clean, close to the sultanahmet square and the staff is really friendly.

***Mold and Bed Bug Alert*** During our month-long honeymoon, we stayed at three hotels in Dubai and four hotels in Turkey (Antalya, Cappadocia, and Istanbul). Unfortunately, our experience at the Sur Hotel was nothing short of a disaster. We had chosen this hotel solely for its location. Upon arrival, we noticed several concerning issues. The hotel's ceilings were covered in mold, which posed a significant health hazard. Additionally, cabinet doors were broken, and we encountered bed bugs in our room. Since it was late at night when we checked in, changing hotels immediately wasn't possible. My wife started experiencing difficulty breathing and severe coughing during the night. The following morning, I attempted to cancel our nine-night booking early due to the unacceptable conditions. However, the owner or manager refused any refunds and simply told us, "Take it or leave it with no refunds," adding, "Do whatever you guys want to do. I don't care." We intend to contact the booking website and our credit card company for assistance, but we strongly advise others to steer clear of this hotel for the sake of their health and safety. It was undoubtedly the worst night of our honeymoon. I'm not typically one to write reviews, as I'm an easy-going person, but this experience was beyond anything I could have imagined. If I could give a negative rating, it would be -100. Please, do not stay at this hotel.

They gave me the room next to reception so most of the time I was unable to sleep due to noise. The sheets were not clean and the bed was not comfortable at all.

Helpful staff. Convenient location close to attractions. Perfect if you’re going to be out most of the day.

Worst hotel in Istanbul. No elevator. Hotel is not maintained, i had mold black spots in the roof and woke up at 5am with water dropping on my head. Breakfast is disgusting. 1 boiled egg, a cut up polony and a slice of tomato. And if not finished its wrapped n kept for the next day. "Do not stay there". Plus i was over charged.

The room was very nice, the area was great, everything close by. The breakfast was terrible....and they charged me $6 dollars per breakfast, when it was not even worth $2....The kitchen staff spoke no English and the staff overall were not so friendly. No one came to pick up trash, bring clean towels, no cleaning was ever made until the last day we were there. An uncomfortable atmosphere on the staff behavior.

The location is very inconvenient to everything, very dirty, my room was on the basement , I refused to stay in the basement but I was out of luck , next morning I ask them to cancel my reservation and left .

I was very disappointed with the hotel and the service. The room I was given was small, dingy and outdated. No space to put my clothes, Ac wasn't working and bed was springy and very uncomfortable. When I informed the staff and management I was told the issue would be resolved but this was not the case. Do not book to avoid disappointment.

Generally it was a good stay. Dogs barking at night kept you awake some nights. Staff were friendly. Air conditioning leaked on two days and had to keep reminding staff to put toilet rolls in toilet. Overall stay was good.

I don't think its a nice hotel. The "VIP Access- self parking" was ajoke. It was just parking on the street, wherever you find the spot
