Mardy Hotel

The hotel is good, nice but we got a superior room and even that was too small. We also didn't like the curtains, the dark curtain on top of the zebra curtain was too short, we tried to adjust the zebra curtain so that it wouldn't be visible from the outside. Other than that, nice, clean hotel.

I stayed alone, the room was nicer than I expected, very clean. The reception was very attentive. He let me use the printer. He was very helpful, even let me use his own perfume. If I came to Istanbul, I would stay here again, it is very close to the metrobus station.

A 2-week stay as a couple cut short because we were exhausted by everything we were subjected to in this hotel and we left. We have detailed everything below and have photos to support it. PLEASE DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THEM, thinking that it is good value for money! We ended our stay at the Hilton, what a relief to find a real hotel managed by HOTELIERS! - Constant smell of cigarette that multiplies as soon as you turn on the heating (so no heating during the entire stay because my wife is pregnant and out of the question to make the bad smell worse), - window of the room that does not close (photo attached) so the cold that passes and we cannot use the heating for fear of being asphyxiated by the cigarette. -Turkish spa (sauna, Hammam) non-existent, I tried to approach it and an employee immediately stopped me by shouting "no no no", -gym which is very much in the spotlight, impossible to do sports because there are big bags of work on the floor, -No room is soundproofed even though the opposite is mentioned in the offer, -no employee speaks English so communication is impossible, and NO effort made -no welcome products except a small bottle of shower gel (for the entire duration of the stay) no hygiene items are provided by the hotel, We are simple people but apart from changing the bath towels, no cleaning was done, my wife had to ask for a mop herself so that we could clean our room so we could breathe a little more. We have NEVER suffered this in our lives. -constant noise until 2-3am, we are woken up several times by neighboring rooms, screams, slammed doors or even by staff cleaning at 2am in front of our room talking loudly while knowing that the rooms, I repeat, are not soundproof. The minimum we expect from a hotel is to be able to sleep well and even that was not possible. It was 5 days before the end of our stay that we decided to leave the place, exhausted by these multiple nighttime awakenings. Not to mention the dirt, the mold on the shower floor, the bad smells, the ceiling with big traces of humidity, the VMC that falls in the bathroom, no curtains, only a blind that lets in all the light and which tends to soon no longer exist since it is broken (see photos), - view of the "garden" announced in the offer (incidentally a nice Photoshop noted on the photo of the advertisement), because you will see that the view rather gives on buildings in very poor condition, - dirt on the floor, - full trash cans on our arrival, - bed linen too small and never changed for 9 nights (this is unheard of), and other things that you can see with the photos, all knowing that it is a 3 star hotel... a shame All the staff
